@Sylva123 oh okay! I didn't think luteal phases changed. A few of the other lady's on here said there's does but everywhere Iv read strictly says it says the same! Your luteal phase is long isn't it!

Beth804 · 02/12/2019 12:35

Thanks @CharlotteCx @carleygh I will try and think positive about the ovary pain! It is really sore though, feels bruised!!

I am still on flashing smiley too, wasn't very happy to see it today, impatient for a solid one! Am cd14 today and 5 days of flashing so far. My positivity is waning!

Hope the preseed did the job @CharlotteCx!

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 12:38

@Beth804 Yep, that's exactly how mine felt! It was so uncomfortable. I bet your ovulating! 🤞🏻 .

Haha I feel your pain! Literally felt like throwing it at the wall when I see it this morning 🙄

Yes fingers crossed it helps!!!

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 12:39

@Beth804 or ready to ovulate in the next few days should I say! As I said the pain for me lasted over a week!

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 12:40

Oh no haha I wrote it wrong @CharlotteCx. My whole cycles are 23-28 days and my LP is 8-12 days depending on what's going on. I think they call it a luteal phase defect. It's just when the second half of your cycle is a bit topsy turvy. I think for most people it probably stays the same then.

@Beth804 hopefully the ovary pain is the egg on its way! Hope you get your static smiley soon.

Beth804 · 02/12/2019 12:41

@CharlotteCx 🤞🙏😘

Beth804 · 02/12/2019 12:42

Thanks @Sylva123! me too x

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 12:51

@Sylva123 haha I thought Jesus that's a long one 🤣 ... yeah I can't say mine Varys a lot at all. It's always been 16 or 17 days on Clomid .. how are you anyway hun?

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 12:54

@Beth804 I know exactly how you feel .. I thought wtf is going on inside me 😳 but I think it's because I hadn't ovulated for 5 months before the 1st month of my Clomid in October so my ovarys were obviously a bit shocked an we're working over time! I'll keep my fingers crossed that your ovulating!!

BonTon · 02/12/2019 13:16

Hope you all get your static smiley soon. Im half way through the tww and reacting to every twinge! No real symptoms atm though to be honest... x

carleygh · 02/12/2019 13:23

Hopefully for you @BonTon !!

@Beth804 I really think it could be ovulation pain 😬😬😬 the pain isn't nice though but at least it's happening 😀😀

Hopefully you and @CharlotteCx get your static soon x

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 13:27

@CharlotteCx I'm good ta. Had my static and my trigger injection so hopefully ovulated at the weekend. Am now on cyclogest and the dreaded two week wait. I've got my hopes up sky high and am already imagining telling everyone at Xmas that the clomid worked... Husband keeps telling me not to get my hopes up but can't help it! I know the chances are still low and it's unlikely to happen first time on clomid... But am getting carried away with myself!

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 14:04

Ah wicked that's good news!! Well I say it's good to have a positive attitude! But obviously can be very disheartening if it doesn't work 😣 ... it's not uncommon for it to work the first time I've seen plenty of ladies that it's worked first time for. Hopefully you'll be one of those!

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 14:44

@CharlotteCx thank you, hope so! So sorry to read it didn't work out with trying last night. That's happened to us a lot too and it can feel really upsetting. Hope you're looking after yourself today and remember it's ok for it to be every other night. There's loads of women on here saying every other night worked for them. I know it's hard when it doesn't work out. I used to take it really personally but I understand it's just cos it's such a pressured time. It doesn't mean anything. My husband tried something random called Horny Goat Weed (I know, lol, the things we do) and it seemed to help when we went through a difficult patch with TTC. We seem able to do it regularly at the moment without too much trouble, but when we struggled the goat weed stuff + Wellman vitamins seemed to help

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 14:46

Honestly.... Horny Goat Weed... What have I become trying all these mad things?! 😆🐐

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 14:49

@Sylva123 🤞🏻🤞🏻 ... we did dtd last night & used preseed too! It was Saturday night that we struggled 🙄 so last week we done it twice Tuesday, Friday and then lastnight and hope to do it tonight and tomorrow to but if we don't do it tonight I'll aim for tomorrow and then that'll be every other day!

Horny goats weed 🤣 can't say Iv ever heard of it haha! My OH takes lots of vitamins daily but that just helps with his morphology of sperm etc not the hornyness. Thing is, he's always up for it but sometimes can't finish because he feels so pressured!

How did you deal with the pressure?

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 14:58

Oh sorry, getting all confused with the messages!
I honestly don't know how we dealt with the pressure. It was fine this month but other months it has been really difficult. My husband's work is also a bit stressy so I think it's worse when the two things are combined. Sometimes it was so bad that either he didn't finish or he did finish but it wasn't a nice experience for me.

We've agreed to try when we get home from work, when we've got more energy and more time to make it nice, rather than later in the evening when he's knackered. We're trying to take it slower an enjoy it more as it all got a bit like another chore on the to do list and a bit repetitive. We're talking about it more, which helps, and I'm being a bit more vocal about what I enjoy as I've noticed that makes him more into it, when he can see I'm having a good time and not just using him as "a sperm bank" which is what he once accused me of 😢. Hard though isn't it, because the reality is we all like a bit of spontaneity and this sort of kills that. I do worry it's gonna kill the sex side of things for us for a while.

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 16:01

Haha no worries! I'm so glad that it's not just me feeling like this! Even just agreeing to it don't you find that quite weird? Like I know that in our circumstances we have to plan it but I'd so much rather the spontaneous sex life like we have all month accept for the most crucial time 🤣 ... omg I'm so with you on that one, like last night we dtd but I didn't really enjoy it, and I don't even think he did, he just somehow managed to finish, poor sod! I just HATE the pressure I cannot bare it. But as I explained to him that even if I wasn't on Clomid, and I didn't have these issues and we were trying for a baby there would still only be that short window as to when I could fall pregnant so the pressure would still be there but I think it's because I know that I'm on Clomid for a short amount of time so the pressure is really on.

Deffo does feel like a chore your right, I miss just getting into bed and having fun sex! I'm sure we'll all get back to that, this Ttc lark is just very very stressful. Yet stress is one of the worse things for you when Ttc 😓

My OH also said to me that I only wana know him when I'm ovulating - which is far from the truth as we normally have a healthy sex life!

It's shitty when you sit back and think of the situation we're all in but we have got to try n look at the positive side... and that's getting our baby's at the end of it all. 🌈

carleygh · 02/12/2019 16:16

I'm hoping pre seed will do the trick 😂 if I fell this month it would be a miracle without being on anything haha. My period is due xmas eve so that would be a nice Xmas pressie 😂😂
I can hope x

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 16:19

Yes @carleygh! Stranger things have happened! Hoping we all get some good Xmas news.

@charlotteCx I feel the exact same way. Exactly the same. But once all this is done then we can go back to how it was before. It's just a really weird time isn't it.

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 16:28

@carleygh do you ovulate without Clomid? X

@Sylva123 very weird yeah, it's horrible 🤣 remind me what cd your on and when af is due? X

Sylva123 · 02/12/2019 16:33

@CharlotteCx I'm on cd 17, due to test on Saturday 14th (that's when AF is due). Think I'm a couple of days ahead of you.

carleygh · 02/12/2019 16:50

I never really knew as my periods were basically non existent up until two months before I started but I never really used strips as there was no guidance to know when to test @CharlotteCx x

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 17:22

@Sylva123 yeah I'm CD12. Ahhhhhh let's hope it's your month!!!!

CharlotteCx · 02/12/2019 17:22

@carleygh What you never had any periods what's so ever? And they say you haven't got pcos? How bizarre!!! X
