For anyone who is taking clomid for whatever fertility reason.

It's a much nicer mindset to have it makes everything flow nicer :-) I did indeed except one which I'm unsure as I was on holiday so didn't test. @CharlotteCx

If you don't mind me asking what was your frequency of sex when on Clomid? Was it every day during fertile window or every other?

Ahh okay so you didn't get a chance to get a blood test whilst you was away. That's annoying! Was your progesterone levels high on your 21 day bloods on Clomid? X @carleygh

@CharlotteCx I am trying to stick to dtd every other day but suspect I will get tempted to try every day when OPK positive!! I have a flashing smiley on CD6, last day of Clomid so we started trying and dtd today, I have told my DH we have to do it every other day this week until the middle of next week!

@dragonfly1978 Same as me I had flashing smiley on cd6 to, I'm now CD10. I can't wait for the fertile window to be over with so I can stop obsessing over having sex 🤣

We tried both so doing every other day and also every day but always on the day of ovulation. With the south you only have blood tests and internal scans on your first round and fourth round. I have no idea on my levels they just said they are good and where they should be @CharlotteCx I'll ask in my review though as I'm intrigued x

So it just shows that every other day or every day is not the wrong or right way if you tried both & it didn't work. Has your OH had a SA? If so was his count etc good?

Yeah I always like to know my levels they say to me that I'm in the normal range but I'm like numbers please?! 🤣

It's so annoying though isn't it like if his count was good and you were ovulating and having regular sex then why the hell hasn't it worked! I literally thought I'd fall pregnant on my first month of Clomid cos I thought well if I'm ovulating normally etc then il fall. How wrong was I!!!!!

Ohhh I thought you meant down south as in Essex, Hertfordshire etc. I live in Hertfordshire x

I know it's crazy to think that the chance normally is just 30% too!
No right down south :-) it is just hard to understand how different areas provision their money differently I guess, so if I remember right your IVF entitlements is 3 rounds whereas ours is just one x

It's mental! Surely if the sperm are healthy and your ovulating and having sex @ the right time youll get pregnant!! So annoying. We tried dtd last night but he couldn't finish (sorry tmi) 😞 so I guess every other day is what we'll do instead of everyday.

Yeah I believe our area is 3 rounds. Can't believe yours is only 1! Have you put your name on the waiting list because I've heard it can take months can't it for your first appointment?

I know our bodies are funny things aren't they....

Oh bless you every other day is still absolutely fine so don't stress yourself out, it's up there and that's all that matters.
His count isn't low so there are plenty of them :-)
Try making it fun and not a chore too, it will help you both.

Yeah I know, I think that is what is stressing me out weather to do it daily or every other. I know both are fine because as you said it's still up there but don't wana miss any chance if I can help it! His sperm count was 36 million in a 1ml sample but his morphology was 3% and they like it to be 4 and above to be considered normal. I'm ok having a bit of a down day today cos of last night trying to dtd but didn't succeed I just think ffs is this going to happen every time 🙈😩 .. one of my app says I'm not due to ovulate until Friday! And one says Wednesday. Confused! I'm still on a flashing smiley though!

How are you? My friend who concieved her baby girl with IVF she waited around 6 months I think but again different boroughs, she was in the Essex borough x x

Oh no Iv tweeked it abit n put my luteal phase etc in and so now both my apps are saying Wednesday for ovulation day. X

Really I will ask I don't think my friend waited that long but who knows 😬 I'm actually not sure how I feel about IVF so hopefully it won't come to that @CharlotteCx x

You won't need it!!! I'm the same as you not 100% on IVF it scares the life out of me! X

Oh my gosh I've had it two years and never knew that 😂 when counting the luteal days do you class the start of your period as the final day? It says from ovulation to start of your period but I'm unsure if I'm 14 or 15 @CharlotteCx x

Hahahah yeah so your luteal phase starts as soon as ovulation occurs and ends on the day your period starts but don't class spotting as the first day it's the first day of full flow. X

For instance my luteal phase started on 4/11 and ended on 21/11 x
