Our third has filled up.

For anyone who is taking clomid for whatever fertility reason.

I find it hard to keep motivated to do it every day but I’ve found the carrot works better than the stick. We will be starting tonight and I think by next Friday we will be fed up so I’m saving some new lingerie for when that happens. I’m also going to suggest he goes to the pub with friends to watch football because he’s always in the mood after a few. Will also be offering back massages hoping it leads somewhere 😂

It is hard. So many people who Iv spoke to have said every other day is best, my friend who has just told me she is pregnant yesterday had it every other day in her fertile window and it worked for her. Everyone is different though aren't they! I'm excited to use the preseed tonight 👏 ... me and OH are going out on a date night tonight, i am making it up to him for being so nasty last night 🙈

It says insert the lubricant 10-15 minutes before having sex... how am I meant to know when it's 10-15 mins before sex it just happens 🤣 does it dry up if you put it in there a while before or something?

Just caught up girls, me and oh have been away for the night relaxing in spa etc! Was definitely needed and made a lovely change from the norm!

I agree that it's so hard for it not too feel forced, especially after bad days at work etc. We are often up for it to start with, then struggle to get in the mood. OH definitely gets fed up and I hate having to bring it up, but how else does he think it'll happen?!

@CharlotteCx I reckon excuse yourself to the loo just when things are starting to get going, do the preseed, then you might have to keep him happy for 10 mins before dtd 😂 massage maybe?!

Ahh it's terrible isn't it I'm so glad it's not only me feeling this way! 🙈 were the same we'll both be in the mood & then half way through hell just give up 🤣 I'm just sat there like ermmm. But it only happens at the most crucial time!!!!

The only good thing about the two week wait is we don’t have to have sex 😂

I actually feel a sigh of relief once of ovulated - the pain of getting sex in on time & all the pressure is finally over for another month! 😓 if anyone says TTC is easy is lying lol.

@Sylva123 I'm guessing Letrezole or however it was spelt is the injections?

I think they may be putting my on those next as Clomid didn't work for me then if not IVF x

I'm hoping it makes a difference & keeps the sperm in a friendly environment until the egg comes along 😅 have you used it yet? @carleygh

🤣🤣 ... yeah funny you say that as I was asking others earlier on in the week if Clomid made their flow a lot lighter as mine was a lot lighter too! Yeah I'm not bad, thanks for asking. Just wanting the fertile window out the way & to be able to say we put 110% effort in! Such a stressful time 😅 are you ok?

It's just crazy how light mine are anyway now this is just extreme it's basically lasted 24 hours and hasn't been heavy enough for a pad just a liner 🙄 same happened last month but not as light as this.

Hmm! Have you done a preg test since? I know I sound mad but if it's that light??

I'm used to like super heavy periods so this one was a dream 🤣 but also a bit concerning cos it's never been like that before.

Ahh I know, the first month I was like a nurotic monster the 2nd month was so chilled about it and we just went with the flow & this month it's back to being a monster 🙈😳 how did you and your OH cope with the pressure of it? Any tips lol?

@carleygh managed to use the preseed tonight.. I only put a little bit in and made a difference!

It is so relieving reading all these messages and knowing I'm not alone with the difficulties dtd has on relationships & the stress of doing it the right time. It really gets me down sometimes & I worry about the impact of all of this on us as a couple. We used to have amazing chemistry and i worry this is slowly suffocating that!

@Goingbacktokansascity we have the same strategy! I raid Love Honey each month getting lingerie for the last few days of the fertile window when we start running out of steam. I know it's mad but I read somewhere that the sperm can be more fertile if the man is more turned on. I'm sure that's total crap and not scientific at all! But the lingerie definitely helps us get in the mood and have decent sex rather than awkward baby making sex, which is better for our relationship.

Good luck to everyone on preseed! We've been using Conceive Plus which is similar I think.

@carleygh I think letrozole are tablets like clomid. I've heard of the injections but don't know much about them. I had one injection this month but that was different - that's what they call a "trigger shot" to make the egg come out.
Hope clomid works for us both this month and then we won't need to worry about it!! 🤞

@CharlotteCx we also did date night tonight to make up for last night!! We're all in symmetry!

@Sylva123 I'm glad yous have made up! I feel so relieved that we dtd lastnight. I was very calm and didn't keep going on I just let him come on to me in his own time and it worked so much better than me saying 'you ready yet' hurry up' as that is so not sexy 🤣

I'm still on a flashing smiley. Been like that since Tuesday! I'm only CD10. Is it normal to have that many flashing smiley days and first have it on CD6? I know it says on the packaging you can have up to 9 days flashing but anything after that you prob won't get a static so I know I'm still in the time frame, I normally ovulate around CD13-15 so should start to see my peak soon, but I'm just over analysing everything 🙈🙄

I'm still on flashy smiley too, started on Wednesday and cd12 today. I hardly even dare think about getting a solid smiley, it's been such a long time since I've ovulated, I can't even imagine it!!

Does anyone pay any attention to the lines inside the ov test?? The first day I took it the lines seemed most similar- should it be like a normal line progression??

@Beth804 awwww I hope you do get your static!!

I don't normally look at the lines at the back tbh, as when I have a static smiley they ain't always 2 bold lines.

No I haven't but I'm so sure I would know, I always have light periods so it's no shock to me just this one was super light, I'm going to request a blood test to test hormones as sure my progesterone is low and that's why. To be honest I've just stayed chilled to avoid pressure, it's hard but getting stressed is the worst thing we can do and we have zero control over this all so I just think it will happen when it's supposed to. Don't get me wrong I have down and sad days but there isn't anything I can do to change it. @CharlotteCx also I hope your static smiley comes soon!!! X

Ohh thanks @Sylva123 unfortunately I've finished all six rounds and it didn't work so just got to wait till me review and see what they say.

Yeah do! See that that comes out as, although light periods aren't always a sign of concern if that's what you've always had?
Yeah it is hard, I was super chilled about it lastnight and we dtd so just got to carry on with that attitude! Did you ovulate all 6 rounds? I'm sure it will come in the next few days ☺️ @carleygh
