I'm due on Thursday, I have been debating buying an early test as think it would detect from tomorrow but im a bit nervous x

carleygh · 23/11/2019 22:12

@CharlotteCx

CharlotteCx · 23/11/2019 22:16

@carleygh how r u feeling, any obvious signs or anything like that? So awful the tww isn't it 🙈 constant anxiety. My friend kept telling me to test before af was due last week and every time she said it my belly went over. X

carleygh · 23/11/2019 22:49

No signs whatsoever but then again I get no signs for anything 😂😂😂😂x

CharlotteCx · 23/11/2019 22:57

Well, not every one gets symptoms! Will u test tomorrow? X

carleygh · 24/11/2019 08:19

I'm
Not sure I read somewhere that it's best to test from the first wee so I may wait until tomorrow as I don't have a test yet 😂 x

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 10:58

Yeah it is, but you could use a FRER, I think that'd pick any hormone up as their super sensitive x

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 24/11/2019 12:49

@Sylva123 I'm on CD9 and I've been an emotional wreck this cycle! I'm thinking it must be the clomid, I'm not normally this bad Grin

Im feeling excited/nervous to get into BDing and to see if I ovulate. I have PCOS and basically non existent periods, so it feels so good to feel like I actually at least have a chance this month.

I have my fingers crossed for all of us this cycle xx

Sylva123 · 24/11/2019 13:24

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget ooh we're on the same day! I'm also excited to see what happens - it's feels like after 2 years of trying, this is the first "real" month where we might have a real chance of something happening. I have my follicle scan tmw, do you?

carleygh · 24/11/2019 14:39

@CharlotteCx what's an FRER? X

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 14:55

@carleygh first response early response pg test x x

carleygh · 24/11/2019 15:47

Oh I see 😂😂 yes I planned to get an early test. Do you know if they're labelled different to the normal clear blue ones? I've searched the internet and clear blue states the normal ones can detect 5 days before your period is due? X

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 24/11/2019 16:11

@Sylva123 no I don't unfortunately, we went private and they wanted to do the first two cycles unmonitored, so we're on our own. Apart from a 21 day blood test to see if it worked.

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 16:15

@carleygh I personally wouldn't use a CB there not as sensitive as FRER. X

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 24/11/2019 18:37

Are FRER more sensitive than the early cheapo test strips you can buy from eBay etc?

LJM83 · 24/11/2019 20:07

Does anyone have any Clomid success stories? For a long time I've been holding out hope that Clomid will be our solution but now I'm actually in the process I'm just not so sure 😏 it is only month 1 for me and I'm not even in the 2ww yet so absolutely nothing to base my pessimism on - just a hunch!

carleygh · 24/11/2019 20:58

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget apparently so, I personally haven't used them as not had the chance to do it yet but @CharlotteCx may be able to help as I think she knows :-)

I can certainly say the clear blue ovulation tests are better than the cheap eBay ones - I used those for 7 months sometimes every day and all negative even when I supposedly ovulation and then one month I used clear blue and it says positive! X

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 21:07

The digi clearblue ovulation sticks I swear by! I think they are really good. They've always been accurate for me, as was all in line with blood tests!

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 21:09

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget I think internet cheapies are quite sensitive too, it'll tell you on the packaging

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 24/11/2019 21:28

I'm thinking about getting the clear blue ovulation tests this month. I was unsure whether to test or not, or just bd every other day all month, but I don't know which would drive me more crazy - testing or not testing! Grin

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 22:00

Personally I like to test - even though I know roughly when I'll ovulate, I just like to see the progression 🤣 .. last night I linked my digi CB to my phone ready for this cycles testing. I didn't know you could do that!!

It's what works for each individual isn't it. I deffo think dtd every other day until after ov is a good move, cos these past two cycles me and OH have only dtd like twice in fertile window and it hasn't worked 🙈

Beth804 · 24/11/2019 22:03

I've got my clearblue ov tests ready for this month, didn't use them for the last two, so hopefully they'll work for me too! (And hopefully I'll actually ovulate this time!)

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 22:07

@Beth804 Have you had your dosage increased this cycle?

carleygh · 24/11/2019 22:40

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget I would recommend the clear blue it's the only ones that have shown me a positive so far :)

@CharlotteCx tested negative :(

CharlotteCx · 24/11/2019 23:15

@carleygh oh im really sorry hun. Is there no chance your gyny will extend for another few months?
