For anyone who is taking clomid for whatever fertility reason.

@Chichz just do it the way you feel comfortable with. Personally I like to do opks as i don't like being in the unknown like am I in my fertile window am I not. You don't need added stress! Have you never used opks? X

@carleygh oh I no how you feel, I felt like that this month I was dreading the disappointment 🙈 .. but least you know that they are willing to try you on these injections aren't they?

Yeah I'm fine thanks hun, I'm coming off my period now so can start with dtd tomorrow onwards, Clomid has shortened my periods, did it you? I used to have a 6 day period and last month I had a 5 day and this cycle it's 4 days! Apperently Clomid can do that though.

@carleygh fingers crossed you don't need anything else but if you do wishing you lots of luck, I know how hard it is. We tried for 2.5 years. @charlotteCx hi hun, ye I did months 1 to 3 on 50mg as I weren't ovulating they increased me to 100mg I lost 20lb in prep for ivf and thankfully and luckily fell pregnant after my 5th round x

@Jesskir89 aww that's wonderful! Congratulations! I see your having a little boy. When are you due? Did you find your period was shortened on clomid? I don't mean cycle length just how many days you were bleeding for x

@charlotteCx thank you :) and yes it was shortened both by cycle day and length of af tbh. Some months were only 26 day cycles for me. I'm due 21st March. What round of chlomid are you on? X

@Jesskir89 Last month I had a 29 day cycle and this month 31. Although before Clomid my cycles were anything from 33 days to 54!

I have just started cycle 3 on 50 mg .. hoping 3rd time lucky. Plan on having a lot more BD'ing this month as past two months we've only dtd twice in fertile window due to work commitments etc 🙈 x

@CharlotteCx hopefully it's not a definite just something she briefly mentioned at the beginning of Clomid so I'll see when I go back for my review.

@charlotteCx good luck. The month I got my bfp was the only month we bd literally every other day throughout the full month to ensure we didn't miss my ovulation day. It becomes tiring and boring but once you get your bfp it gets back to being enjoyable again I promise!

@Jesskir89 oh did you do it every other day through out the whole month? I was planning on doing it every day. But every other day is more ideal tbh! Well Cleary what we have been doing doesn't work 🤣 and I know when I will ovulate now so I'll start doing it from tomorrow through til the day after ovulation! X

@charlotteCx yes we were told every day is no good as sperm takes at least 48 hours to recoup itself so he is probably in effect firing blanks.... Every other day for the full month is all that worked for me. I didn't use opks as they stressed me out I tracked it using ovia.

@Jesskir89 did you have sex after ovulation too? Cos I just thought I'll stop a day after ovulation cos what's the point in every other day after ovulation when the eggs already been released and lasts 24 hrs. I'll do every other day from tomorrow. X

Anyone else feeling a bit weird on the clomid? Cycle day 8 and am a bit tetchy and sooo sleepy.
Does it get worse from here or is this it?! Just wondering whats in store this month - I always go a bit with PMS!

@Sylva123 I just have hot flushes in the night when taking the tablets, then for the rest of the month feel fine. I do get quite moody on them too! X

Hey everyone, just got my smear test letter through 😩 But now I'm worried they'll mess things up by prodding about in there if I've managed to implant! (Unlikely at the moment!) 😂
Anyone know if that's a thing? Or am I overthinking?!

@Beth804 I’d go for the smear test. They’re only swabbing the outside of your cervix so i can’t think of any reason that would affect your endometrium. I had early pregnancy bleeding with my son due to an ectropion on my cervix and had all sorts of prodding around up there with speculum to find out what was happening

@Sylva123 I'm the same as Charlotte I had hot flushes always in the middle of the night haha, a tiny bit moody but no side effects other than that x

That's funny 😂😂😂😂 I get super stroppy when I'm hungry too and I'm sure Clomid heightens the stroppiness haha! What day are you on again? X

@carleygh 🤣🤣🤣 I deffo put my moodiness down to Clomid. Not the fact I'm just a moody cow anyway 🤣🙈 .. I'm on day 3 hun. When are u due to test? Have you tested at all yet or you waiting until day of AF due x
