And now I've just started brown spotting

@AliceAbsolum sorry to read this. But usually brown spotting is ok. I hope so! And hope you're ok 🤞🏻

Hopingforbabyd · 23/11/2019 00:08

@AliceAbsolum get in touch with the clinic lovely they can help you, brown spotting is old blood I'm not expert but I had this and its usually from the embryo still continuing to burrow deeper and your uterus expanding. Keep strong x

AliceAbsolum · 23/11/2019 06:17

OK it's completely gone this morning. DH thinks it was all the rummaging around with the ultrasound which I can get my head around. Lots of ladies online saying they had the same and it was an absolutely tiny bit.

I had 12 hours of being relaxed! but going to try not to let this freak me out and set me back.

@AliceAbsolum reflecting what the others have said, brown blood more reassuring, but can totally understand why it's unsettled you. Enjoy the next 9 months of toilet paper inspecting 😙

Sensitive post: I'm being induced today. Got very weepy last night feeling guilty that I've not embraced this pregnancy and also scared and sad that it's going to be over.

AliceAbsolum · 23/11/2019 06:50

Oh best of luck lovely. It's totally OK to feel those two opposing but valid emotions. You can definetely not enjoy something and be sad and scared that it's going to be over, absolutely nothing to feel guilty about.
Update us when you can, this is the first TMI thread baby! Smile

@Twiglet2353 good luck! Hope it all goes smoothly!

mouse1234567 · 23/11/2019 15:59

@Twiglet2353 best of luck! Let us know how it goes.

@AliceAbsolum spotting and bleeding is always scary but as you know I have had loads -and full on and red etc and so far it has been ok. Hopefully it won’t come to much. If you are concerned go to an EPU.

Hopingforbabyd · 23/11/2019 16:11

@Twiglet2353 good luck gal!! You have been and are amazing! Enjoy your babe and keep us posted when you're ready 💕 x

Twiglet2353 · 23/11/2019 16:14

Thanks everyone. I'm already 3cm dilated so don't need any pessaries. Thankfully that means I'm able to come home to wait for a bed on the Labour ward, which can take upto five days in busy periods.

Will keep you updated x

AliceAbsolum · 23/11/2019 16:40

It was such a tiny amount. I've chalked it down to the dildocam. Really not what I needed though.

@Twiglet2353 thinking of you! Bet you're doing great xx

@Twiglet2353 very exciting! May I ask, have you been induced early? X

Pleaseletitbeme · 24/11/2019 19:20

Day 3 of stims
WTF am I even doing this for.

AliceAbsolum · 24/11/2019 19:46

@Twiglet2353 Thinking of you xxx

@pleaseletitbeme It'll hopefully be worth it. IVF leaves us little choice and that's super tough. You can so do this!
You are probably near 1/2 way through?

Congratulations Twiglet

Viletta · 24/11/2019 21:26

@Twiglet2353 congratulations!! Let us know how you get on.

@Pleaseletitbeme hopefully this time it'll be different. So hard keep doing same thing expecting different result but most factors are out of our control and although it appears you are doing same thing actually it all can be very different this time around. Good luck!

WorriedButterfly · 24/11/2019 22:06

Congratulations @Twiglet2353, you were the first person I spoke to on here back in March and still give me hope.

@Pleaseletitbeme, day 4 for me, today has been tough and feel the same at times. When is your first scan, I have one tomorrow and don't feel very positive atm. Last cycle was so draining & bit by bit I feel this one draining me too! Stay strong love, we can do this. How are you doing @Wesstywoo? X

Wesstywoo · 25/11/2019 05:40

@Twiglet2353 many congratulations!!!!! Lovely news.

@Pleaseletitbeme day 4 for me yesterday. I'm taking one day at a time.

@WorriedButterfly I'm feeling much better now - how are you doing? Good luck with your scan today, let us know how you get on. My next one isn't til Friday and I'm wondering what is going on in there. As I'm getting no side effects I'm wondering if the drugs are working! Finding the injections a bit more uncomfortable this time although they are exactly the same as I was on before.

AliceAbsolum · 25/11/2019 07:09

@Twiglet2353 I knew you would hold him in your arms, I knew it. Congratulations on your baby son. This is absolutely magnificent news, I'm bloody thrilled! I remember you talking about him being a 3 day embryo and now here he is Grin

Day 5 of Stims: 2x 12mm, 2x 8mm and 1x 5mm, long way to go but better than last time. (I didn't have any above 5mm at this point) lining was at 6.5. Keeping everything crossed! X

AliceAbsolum · 25/11/2019 12:01

@WorriedButterfly Looking good, for day 5 thats pretty decent.
