Ouch.. sad news about the egg! How are you feeling? Hopefully you'll get 10 blasts from the donor! I always feel a massive relief when there is something to freeze!

I've got ERA appointment on 31 October. The exact time to the minute depends on when I start taking progesterone. Trying to schedule it all around my flights.

10 would be crazy! Our last donor cycle we had 7 fertilise, 1 shitty blast. I'm hoping for 2 or 3.

To the minute! Wow how strange. Least you won't be in the country for brexit 😒 if we even leave by then.

Right I'm off for a swim in the sea, then I'm going to run 5k because I can now and then have my 3rd coffee of the day. Yay for the period between EC and ET 😅

I woke up and realized that the clock went back an hour.. I am taking my meds precisely to the minute!! Why didn't I think about it.. I think it's the time when I started taking them that's the most important.. so my ERA test will have to be rescheduled one hour later which means I will most likely miss my plane back as the train and flight was scheduled very tightly around the ERA time. What a pain...

Unbelievably at my scan at the EPU at 6w5d last Friday they saw the fetus measuring correctly and a heartbeat. I was so prepared for them to tell me the worst. Don’t know how to feel now but trying to put out my mind until my viability scan at clinic this Friday at 7w5d. My big bleed and slow rising HCGs last week are staying in my mind and I really think that the fetus will just stop growing sometime over the next few weeks. Also still have no symptoms and 7 weeks today.

AFM, OTD today and it's a BFP! I'm 9dp5dt today. Couldn't believe my eyes! Especially after having a brown discharge on Saturday. Thought AF was on its way. Fingers crossed is all going to be ok!

Guys, you're not going to believe it my egg that didn't fertilise was kept in the incubator, they checked it this morning and it fertilised late and is now an early blast!! So we had 2 put back, and 4!!! other blasts, both frozen in 2s. Absolutely over the moon 😁😁😁

Transfer was brutal though, I've got to lie down for hours and I've needed a wee for 1.5 hours already. Oh well. Hopefully be worth it.

We put it back with a hatching donor one. It's not the best case scenario because if twins one won't be genetically mine or if single we won't know until its born and tested, but what can you do.

I don't think any of us were in a 'best case scenario' unfortunately, but this is 100% your baby whether that be genetically or not. The sacrifices you're making already for it just shows the unconditional love. Sending you love over the TWW.

It's National Fertility Week so there's loads of podcasts I'm going to try and have a listen to over the next few days.

@AliceAbsolum genetics don't matter, this little baby will be YOURS and yours only. Try not to get too hung up on that part because everything about that little one will be connected to you from implantation all the way through to the rest of its life. Sending you lots of luck and love x

I still can't believe that not only did my egg turn into a blast when they said it didn't fertilise, but that we have 4 in the freezer.... 4 years of continuous bad news and having some good is a shock.
Still trying to get my head around the meds protocol. I'm now on
10mg Estrofem
800mg pessary progesterone
1 injection of progesterone
Prednol (immune?)
Asprin
Antibiotics
Injection of a blood thinner
Cq10
Folic acid
It's too big to put in my hand luggage! It gives me hope to try different things rather than to just be on 400mg of progesterone. But I said I wasn't going to get my hopes up.

It's 27c, I'm sitting by the beach about to read my book. Life is currently good 😁

@AliceAbsolum wow taking all those sounds like a full time job! 😂 but sounds like all bases are covered! I have absolutely everything crossed for you. When are you due to fly home? Enjoy your time on the beach!

Fly tomorrow and otd is on the 11th. But that's a Sunday, so I'll probably have a beta test on the Saturday.

@Wesstywoo everything is going well thank you 😊 I've started to feel little fluttery movement's especially on one side, hubby borrowed a friends Doppler as of course anxiety is a little high 🙈 and we heard baby's heartbeat for the first time last night right where I thought they were. It was so lovely and so fast! Put my mind at ease and we're giving it back as I think I'll become a bit obsessed lol. How are you doing? Xxx

I'm in Prague, ERA is tomorrow one hour before the initial schedule, not after.. dah I calculated it wrong so should be able to catch my flight back as planned! I wonder how it feels.. it's a biopsy but no anesthesia.. I really want to get some good healthy couple of months and jump back to FET as soon as I can!
