5 eggs retrieved - panicking

Hi everyone - this is our 4th donor egg IVF cycle and the clinic called earlier to say that 5 eggs have been retrieved. I'm devastated because I know what a numbers game this is - we've previously had 12+ eggs and watched that number drop drastically over the following days, so I'm terrified that we won't have any embryos to transfer and the latest cycle of drugs and anxiety has all been for nothing, not even a chance of a BFP.

I'm so upset . . . any success stories out there with 5 or fewer eggs? Thank you x

I think I see a line! It's so faint, but it came up within the three minutes! I'm shaking like a leaf. I'm so happy and terrified at the same time!

I'm ok - we're going to Spain for our next round. Am doing a mock cycle at the moment and the real cycle starts next month with ET planned for 18th May x

I actually feel a bit faint from adrenaline, just had a crazy rush of emotions! I will definitely post progression pics - I've had a couple of chemicals before, and an early miscarriage, but I don't want to think about that. Positivity!

@jemimafuddleduck that's exciting! We've been looking at clinics in Spain as there does seem to be some really excellent facilities there, and a lot of expertise in recurrent implantation failure. I wish you all the luck in the world - start a thread, keep us posted!
