Hi everyone, just had my first down regulation injection this morning with a scan booked for next Thursday. This will be the transfer of my remaining embryo. I had a little boy last year via ICSI so I know I've been very lucky already.

Anyone else starting now?

@lillyleaf, you will be fine, and u will feel much better once the eggs are out! And more more injections has to be a good thing! xx

Russkispy · 04/12/2018 20:52

Thank you lovely ladies! I'll be getting daily updates with embyo progress photos till the day of ET! Mine is scheduled on Saturday, which will be day 4, morula stage of embryo. I read a lot about it and it all sounds as good as day 5 of being a blastocyst. Praying they all survive and some left to freeze!
It looks like a few of us getting ET done on Saturday! Everything crossed for us!! I'm not sure about anybody's age, but I'm 42. And you?

LillyLeaf · 04/12/2018 21:18

Trigger is done. How did you all feel the day after EC, I can't decide whether to take it off work or not.

Josie789 · 04/12/2018 21:40

@lillyleaf best to take the next day off as it is a general anaesthetic.

@russkisspy I'm 34, amazing u get daily photos, is this extra to the normal treatment? X

jemimafuddleduck · 04/12/2018 22:01

Thank you all for updating what's going on, reading your news is really exciting! Fingers crossed all goes well in the next steps for everyone.
I had a scan today and my lining was thin (which is good). I start on progynova tomorrow and my next scan is next Thursday. The nurse said my donor was in yesterday for her scan and all is well so far.
I can't get my head around the idea that someone out there is going through all of this for us. It makes me so emotional!

Wesstywoo · 04/12/2018 22:39

@LillyLeaf I feel fine today, no pain although I took the day off as holiday because the clinic told me to take it easy. Mine wasn't general anesthetic though

Guio · 05/12/2018 06:30

Hello,I went back to work the day after EC as I was absolutely fine but I had sedation no general anesthetic. However I fell awful since I started the progesterone pessaries,is this normal?I do 2 per day,I feel bloated and I have abdominal pain.

Wesstywoo · 05/12/2018 08:31

Hi @guio sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I only did my first pessary this morning so I dont know if that is causing it but I would perhaps contact your clinic for advice today (mine told me to call them if I had those symptoms). I hope you feel better soon

Russkispy · 05/12/2018 08:39

Not great news here, only 1 survived after fertilisation and nothing to freeze. This only 1 is dividing in cells and my doctor has good prognosis for it. I can only pray now! Will be discussing plan B after ET. Im just hoping and praying it survives till Saturday transfer!

AmyK18 · 05/12/2018 13:47

@Josie789 I asked the nurse at my clinic about the scratch timings and she said this so think I don’t have to worry too much I got myself all wound up yesterday

‘The theory behind a scratch and wash is that the repair process releases growth factors, hormones and chemicals which then makes the new lining that grows more receptive to an implanting embryo.

So, in theory this current lining that you are about to have (your period should be due any day now) is reaping the benefits of the procedure.’

AmyK18 · 05/12/2018 13:48

@Russkispy keeping my fingers crossed for your little emby! X

Josie789 · 05/12/2018 16:07

That's good to know thanks @amyK18.

Is any one else feeling really bloated with the progesterone? I have to wear a uniform to work and feel like I am going to burst out of it!

Russkispy · 05/12/2018 19:46

Thank you! Hope @Guio is feeling better!?

Beetroot01 · 05/12/2018 20:29

@Russkispy hope your embrio will do well x
I had my EC today, I had 19 follicules, so I hope that few will fertilise. I feel quite bloated but not too bad in general.

LillyLeaf · 05/12/2018 20:45

@Russkispy fingers crossed for your embryo.

@Beetroot01 how many eggs did you get from those follicles? Hopefully you'll get good news tomorrow.

I have my EC tomorrow, pretty nervous but not really about the procedure I'm more nervous about the outcome.

Russkispy · 05/12/2018 20:51
