Round 2 down regulation has just started. Embryo transfer should be 1/2 November. Going for 2 embryos this time.

Anyone else just starting a round? x

AF FINALLY showed up today so I start the nasal spray tonight and in for a baseline scan on Monday. Hopefully my lining will have sorted itself out from my miscarriage at last and we can proceed 🤞

I’ve got my second scan tomorrow. Hoping all is still well for the planned egg collection on Friday.
Seems like a lot of us are at exciting and scary stages all at the same time

Day two for our embryos and all 6 doing well so far. Could be transfer tomorrow or Monday.

Hello, how everyone is doing?.I was wondering if someone is expecting transfer early December?I think I am behind from most of you!I will start with buserelin in 10 days if that helps 😊

@Guio I'm expecting transfer late November and official test date early December, assuming all goes to plan.

Currently down regulating and my period is here, feeling pretty rubbish but glad I'm having a bleed.

Hi ladies, how are you all doing? I've been a lil quiet lately as had a few emotional days. On day 12 of buserelin and 4 more you go until my baseline scan on Tuesday when ill see how it's all going with my uterus lining and if I'm ready for the menopur injections. This brings me to a question! Are the menopur injections bigger and more painful? I read something about that which has made me a lil anxious!

Tinypaws and Guio - I think I'm near to your timelines. If all goes to plan I think ill have egg collection around 22nd Nov.

Btw did anyone have an odd symptom with buserelin where their wrists felt weak and achy. Like there is some lack of strength to hand muscles. I've felt that for a few days. Thanks in advance for any answers

I had my first scan today; I have 12 follicles of a good size and a few smaller ones, next scan is on Monday - feeling strangely proud of myself and my body

@PlayingPositive I didn't use injections for the Buserelin so can't comment on how different the Menopur ones are but I have not found them painful; I use an ice pack to numb the area first and then the needle just slides in without any pain, sometimes it stings a bit when the liquid is going in but that's only for a second or two.

Hi @TinyPaws so you will be a few days earlier than me if I arrive at that stage, trying to be positive!I wish I was down regulating already as the pill is causing me headaches and bleeding,still 12 days more to go and later buserelin.i hope you injections go well,are you on menopur?mines arrived a few days ago and I can't look at them 😔. nurse said that egg collection will be around the 3rd of December.

I have done menopur before, it's not very different to buserelin. The needle is the same size. I get an injection site reaction with buserelin that I don't get with menopur.

@PlayingPositive I'm just a couple of days behind you, I can't wait to start stimming (I'll be using menopur too) as the down reg is making me feel just awful, emotionally and physically.

@Guio don't worry about the injections, the thought of doing them is much worse than actually doing them, you will be fine!

@Flutterby7 side effects depend on the type of trigger. If it's hcg then I think you can have pregnancy type side effects - headache. TMI but my nips have been very sensitive! It's annoying I've noticed as I'll be looking for this after transfer now.. glad to hear the scan went well, take it easy over the weekend and all the best for Monday

@Guio the injections are a doddle once you get going. I find cetrotide stings a bit, and blood thinners are quite blunt but stims I barely feel

Best of luck with it 🤞🏼 I walked around my house for about twenty minutes with my trigger ready to inject, counting down to make sure I wouldn't be late!

@Guio it looks like we are at the same stage. I am currently on buserelin, my DR scan is on 21 november and I hope to start stims on 22 and if everything goes by plan my transfer should be around w/c 3 December :)

Injections are anoying but wait for the twice a day pessariesduring the 2WW... it feels like the time stopped after the transfer!
@FingersXssd83 I had the same 'toilet' experience haha now waiting for a BFN as no cramps and no spotting at all. The wait until Wed is scary more than exciting atm. How are you? Xx

Hi @Vida81, we have to wait until a week on Monday to test - do you think we could do it earlier?

Had a massive headache yesterday, don't think it's pregnancy related, probably just TWW stress. No more pains or spotting and don't feel any different although I was very tired last night. The pessaries are just annoying now.

Are you a NHS patient and if this one doesn't work out will you be doing any further cycles? I keep telling myself this is our practice run as we're lucky and have 3 funded goes.

@FingersXssd83 Hi yes it's our first nhs, but in case of a BFN I'll wait a few months until the next one. I can't ask for more time off at work atm.
Our clinic said we must count 2 weeks from the trigger injection it mimics the pregnancy hormone so we have to wait for the body to release it to get reluablevresults). Egg was the 24th, like you? So they asked us to take a test on the 7th and call them. What day did they tell u?xx

Hi @FingersXssd83 and @Vida81 it has to be so hard the wait!I have the pessaries already delivered but won't touch them for a month yet 😂.are they that bad?Good you have 3 rounds,does that include frozen ones?I get 2 with 1 frozen transfer each.I took time today to tidy all the medicines,just a shelf for me with all of them except menopur that is in the fridge.I can't still think I am doing this but it is real now.Good luck for you both!! @Beetroot01 I think you will have the transfer when my ec is planned around the 3rd-5th Dec 😊.
