Hi ladies!

Round 2 down regulation has just started. Embryo transfer should be 1/2 November. Going for 2 embryos this time.

Anyone else just starting a round? x

Yes transfer is today @BlueSarah (eek!). As of yesterday we had three morulas so hoping for three blasts today but they said only 50% are expected get to blast. They may leave any extra blasts another day to see if they're good enough to freeze. We'll consider ourselves very very lucky if we get a frostie!

Good luck today @Vida81, hope your transfer goes well. I'm off to get some pineapples afterwards. Do you have any nice plans for the day? It's feels like such a relief to have made it this far xxx

@flutterby7 & @bluesarah yeah it does feel very long! I hope the stims will be better than the down reg injections, these are really odd. I'm all cold and then hot, getting headaches and feel low & anxious. And the funniest symptom ladies - I'm totally gassy lol sorry for tmi. Anyone else experience this? I'm on my period now and the endometriosis has flared up too.

Hi, thanks for all your support. We only got one blastocite left but apparently good quality. My transfer went well, now just chilling at home for the rest of the day.
@FingersXssd83 how did it go? is pineapple good for implantation? xx

Glad your transfer went well today @Vida81 Pineapple core is supposed to help with implantation, I'm sure its a myth but my DH is going to pop out to get me one just in case.

We had an early blast that's good quality transferred. They're letting another one go another day to see if it's good enough quality to freeze.

They couldn't see my womb on the ultrasound so I didn't get to see it after transfer, which was a little disappointing. I actually found the transfer underwhelming and felt a little sad this afternoon. Not sure why. Hope your TWW goes smoothly and quickly.

No harm eating pineapple I might do the same.
It sounds like u have a great chance to get pregnant! And also to keep an embryo just in case, excellent news.
I feel a bit odd too after ET , too much expectation I guess, but happy it's over. Now next step...tww, loads of reading, writing n movies for me. Do you have any plans?xx

I'm back to work later this week but until then I'll be pottering about, walking the dogs and watching films like you.

It's great that the medical bit is over now and pleased that we got to a day 5. Felt a little nervous when they gave me the pregnancy test and ran through the instructions. Really can't imagine this working but I'm going to try my best to remain positive! Xxx

@FingersXssd83 what a great news.I will cross fingers for you!how long until test now?just try to relax although it will be difficult...I am in 7 day in the pill so far from your journey. Shall I be concerned that I am still bleeding a lot? anyone that took the pill could confirm if it is normal?

Vida and Fingers wishing you all the best for your little embryos implanting. Great that you both got to blasto stage. On my last cycle I felt surprisingly low after transfer too - I think it was the pressure to 'relax' 'enjoy' and 'be positive' made me feel less positive Hope these days go as quick as they can for you now. Have you booked much time off work?

Guio I did short protocol so can't help with the pill, but I would suggest just giving your clinic's IVF nurses a call - I'm sure they'll be happy to have a quick chat about it.

AF is due today but no sign of the bitch yet! then straight onto meds for my FET when she turns up. They gave me a shortened time on the nasal spray this time because it made me feel so rough - I only have to start on CD1 for transfer that same cycle...

PlayingPositive Yep I had all of those same symptoms. Stick it out and try and keep busy. 😊

@Vida and @FingersXssd great news that you have had transfers and they have gone well so far. Enjoy your films and pottering and I hope it all goes well.

@orangefolly I don't have more time off so back to work tomorrow but might be a good distraction coz today I kept checking Google for symptoms, averages, etc. gets u crazy!!

Thanks so much @orangefolly and @Flutterby7 I've felt a few twinges since transfer. I thought this stage would be easy but it's no better than the last few weeks tbh! Like @Vida81 I'm looking forward to returning to work now for the distraction

That's fantastic news @Vida81 and @FingersXssd83! Hope the time doesn't drag too much for you and you are able to enjoy the next couple of weeks.
@Flutterby7 how is your stimming going? What day are you on? Being feeling bloated today and my left ovary is starting to ache which might mean something is happening?
Seemed to have swapped Goggling pregnancy symptoms for Googling drug symptoms. Read up on the symptoms of OHSS about 5 times today

@BlueSarah I’m on day 7 of stimulation. Other than feeling like I have much more energy and no where near as tired as I was on just the Buserelin I haven’t felt much really. I still have the bloating all the time tho 😞
I have my first scan tomorrow to see how I’m getting on so I guess I’ll find out then if anything is happening!
What day are you on?
I know what you mean, I was googling everything all the time but I banned myself at the start of this week and thought I just have to trust myself. I will know if I am getting lots more symptoms than I should do I haven’t googled for two whole days!!! 😂 and actually have felt more relaxed today!

Had my scan today. Good result so far. Stims are working and everything looking good so they are hoping to egg collect Monday! 😆

That's fantastic news @Flutterby7 must be such a relief making it to the next mile stone!
I am on day 6 and have my scan on Friday so hoping for EC next week too (assuming something is actually happening down there of course)

@BlueSarah yes it’s another box ticked. I’m just glad it’s working so far. I couldn’t feel anything so had no idea if it was doing anything. Fingers crossed you have the same result Friday 🤞🏻

Hi Ladies I haven't been on for a while as quite overwhelmed by this process and am getting up to speed. Hope you're all doing well. I had egg collection yesterday. I feel so bloated today and my acupuncturist has just pointed out that they apparently pump us with air to create a bit more space? Hadn't realised hat but it would explain a lot!

findingmywaytoday How do you feel other than the bloating after the egg collection? I don’t know if to go back to work the day after egg collection or to have an extra day.
I didn’t know that about the air!! Fingers crossed for your embryos xx

Morning @Vida81 had a few twinges but I get them anyway. This morning at about 5am I felt some slight cramps but I went to the loo (sorry for tmi) and they stopped so I think it it was associated with that. No boob growth or pains. I'm 99.9% sure that it'll be a BFN for me. I keep telling myself that this was our practice go and focus on the fact that we upped our chances this month so not to be disheartened. Rubbish though isn't it xx

Oh @Vida81 I forgot I had really itchy and hot shins last night in bed. Obviously Goggled it and saw stuff about pregnancy mainly relating to the third trimester. I'll see if it's a one off or if I get it tonight. Would be a very odd symptom if it related to a BFP

I'm starting oestrogen at the weekend for my third cycle of donor egg IVF. I'm not massively optimistic, and still a little emotionally bruised from our last attempt (which resulted in a chemical pregnancy) . . . but if you're not in, you can't win!

Hi all I've been on the September thread but should have joined this one! We had egg collection yesterday for our third fresh IVF cycle. We got 11 eggs, 7 were mature and 6 have fertilised - so now cheering on 6 embryos.

Hi @Flutterby7 I felt wiped out and crampy on the day. Following day (yesterday) personally I'd have been too uncomfortable to go to work due to bloating and wind. I also looked about 9 months pregnant! Feeling much better today, but still a bit bloated and windy but nowhere near as bad!! Hope your collection goes well.

They collected 15, were immature and 8 fertilised and patiently (ha) waiting until tomorrow morning for my next call...
