Anyone else just starting their journey ?

DH is going for his sperm sample to be tested today and hes so nervous and the GP wants me to have some blood tests done and swabs at a later date. So nervous of what to expect and terrified of the possibility of IVF I've heard its so painful ?
We've been trying to have a baby for over 3yrs with 2 chemical pregnancies so far Sad

Hi everyone, I don’t know anyone who has been through IVF before and I need some advice. I had my embryo transfer a week ago but started bleeding very heavily yesterday with the worst stomach cramps I have ever had. Called my clinic and they just said it could be a normal period - has anyone been through this before? I’m not thinking the worst and still have to wait until Sunday to do a pregnancy test. Any ideas? X

We have been TTC for over 2 years, my boyfriend also struggles with delayed ejaculation. To start our ferility journey we have been to the doctors and I'm waiting to have my 21 day test and my boyfriend is going for the semen analysis tomorrow. Hopefully we can go from there. I'm pleased I've found this forum as although we have each other this whole experience has made me feel rather isolated x

Big hugs and love xxx I too hit rock bottom the week before last, had a couple of days in bed 😳 can you go for a nice walk somewhere, a bit of fresh air and exercise may do you some good? I'm finding the gym and swimming helpful.

Wasn’t sure whether to post here as I don’t want to say I’m Infertile yet but I just left a post in the conception channel. I haven’t had periods for over a year since coming off the pill so whilst we’ve been ttc we haven’t really been ‘trying’ as I have no idea when or even if I’m ovulating. If anyone knows of any relevant boards or has any experience of this I’d love to know. I’ve had ultrasounds and bloods and all came back clear!

@Bezzbub buy a basal body thermometer and chart your temperatures hun it will really help you find out when your fertile and use ovulation predictor kits theyl let you know when u ovulate. If u need any help or advice dm me x

Thanks so much. I had a nasal thermometer but I wasn’t sure how reliable they are as they can be impacted by sleep patterns etc. Is there usually a big variance in temp?

@Bezzbub its best to take ur temp at the same time every morning it gets tiring but it is worth it to pinpoint ovulation, take it before you get out of bed or even move about i boight a baby mad one cheap from amazon

Hi @thisisouryrfx18! Thank you for asking! I've been away from the thread awhile. We are starting another month of iui. It's hard. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one going through this. It takes a toll on you. We've been trying for 2 years and can't find a reason to explain why I can't get pregnant. It's heartbreaking.

Hello everyone,
I've finally admitted that I belong here and not on the conception boards. 18months ttc #2 I've been doing opk and I don't think I'm ovulating at all. Booking a GP appointment this week but as we have our son already we won't get any help on the NHS.
Should I just bite the bullet and go to private clinic now? They are likely to want to do all their own tests anyway so it won't matter if the GP has already done them or not. I just want to get on with it now.

Finally got a date for laparoscopy and HSG for mid Jan.

That's about the only good news I've had in a while. Fed up of being in pain so much of the time.

I'm feeling so nervous that they are going to take one of my ovaries away. I have pain in it such a lot of the time ☹️ just feel something is really wrong.

How is everyone else? X
