ABC Infertility

Looking at potential IVF options and to stay with our current fertility clinic, we’re looking in the region of about £6k for IVF including medication. I have come across ABC in London a few times and I’ve also seen women on ttc/infertility fb groups talking about having their IVF done there.

I understand it’s known as “shoebox” IVF which is why it only costs £2500 including meds, scans etc. Which is amazing to be honest when you don’t have thousands and thousands to spare like we don’t. I was just wondering if anyone on here was considering going, is currently or has been through IVF with them and if they’re worth it? I feel like it may be a “too good to be true” situation but if it’s not, it would really be a step in the right direction for us money-wise

Just wondering what to expect from transfer day, our egg collection went brilliant and we got the call today to say they have fertilised and getting ready for transfer day xx

Thank you so much we got 12 and 7 fertilised that's pretty much all we no so far there going to ring tomorrow and update us more, egg collection wow I wasn't expecting it to be like that I felt pretty rough pretty much for the rest of the day then to start the pessaries when your feeling tender it's pretty though going it didn't hurt it was more of a dull ache xx

Hi guys we've just finished our transfer here comes the long 2 week wait, did any of you guys test early if so how long did you wait xx

@Sarahloub1 glad egg transfer went well! How are you feeling? What cycle day did you have your transfer done? Was it 5 day embryos? Fingers crossed x

We had a day 3 transfer, tmi my boobs are killing normal before my period there swollen and hurt but they just really hurt like I need to keep hold of them, a little bit cramping but that comes and goes but I'm so so tired I could sleep for a year definitely don't think I can wait for 2 weeks xx

Ooh tiredness is a good sign, natures way of telling your body to stop, relax and let implantation happen. Wishing you all the best when you test x

Thank you for asking,
I cheated lol couldn't resist we tested on Thursday it came back positive but I was still unsure and really nervous so we waited till official bloods on Monday we got the call mid day to tell us IT'S POSITIVE!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
We couldn't believe it our 7 weeks scan is 26th August

Haha I know couldn't actually believe it, yeah 275 or 270 I couldn't remember all I herd was I'm pleased to say your pregnant, I'm not even sure what it's meant to be to be honest

How many cycles did you do before this one?

I've done 4 but to sucecess yet. thinking of going to abc. It's hard with work and don't know if I can always go to. Do they after appointment through out the 2 weeks proveedure in afternoons?

Awww thank you it's not sunk in yet,
This was our first round, I would definitely recommend abc we traveled quite far but it was worth it not just because it worked but more because as soon as we pressed the bell at the bottom of the stairs we were greeted by a warm and welcoming voice that instantly put you at ease.

Hi everyone, can I join?! I'm currently at CRGH but our issue is male factor so we will need ICSI but want to investigate ABC as I like the idea of a slightly less intrusive process for me...

Currently on a clomid cycle but would be starting ivf next cycle, so I need to get on and book an initial appointment I think!

Hi anyone here know if abc takes on patients with irregular periods. Period is normal most months but some months it's absent 1 month after 4 months no period etc
