First cycle of ivf, they transferred x2 embryos yesterday so the countdown begins....

DH is trying to be helpful but driving me slightly insane fussing, I'm feeling ok and trying not to panic about every slight twinge

Testing on the 16th, anyone else around the same time?

I know Yorkshire - it’s so hard!! When is your OTD? Hope you’re doing ok and managing to keep busy xx

Yorkshirelass27 · 27/11/2017 17:58

It's tomorrow Wilma, but I don't think it will be the outcome I was hoping for. Had strong stomach ache through the night and have brown spotting through the day. Also did a HPT this morning, which was negative. I'm trying to prepare myself for the worse. What is worrying me is how we are going to raise all that money to try again.
Appreciate your message, thank you. Hope you are keeping well xx

Oh i’m sorry to hear that but will keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Are you able to go down the NHS route?

Star198 · 27/11/2017 21:16

Omg congrats willma minister and ging!!! This is such amazing news!!!

Good luck to everyone due to test. Its the most awful wait :(

willma86 · 27/11/2017 21:48

Thanks star. I am over the moon but feeling quite anxious about my scan which will be in three weeks time. I’ve had slightly sore boobs and have been quite tired but nothing more than that so just praying it’s growing nicely!!

How are you doing?

Yorkshirelass27 · 27/11/2017 23:59

Thank you Wilma. I wish we could, but I don't we are able to go down the NHS route as my partner has children from a previous relationship. It feels rather unfair that we shouldn't get any help x

Star198 · 29/11/2017 20:04

Hi willma how are you feeling now? Im sure sickness will kick in soon and that is a weird nice reassurance everythings going well. Ive been feeling the same counting down to the scan and hoping all is going ok. Mines on 11th dec, when is yours booked for?

Hi Yorkshirelass did you do another test?

willma86 · 30/11/2017 13:22

Hi Star,
I’m still feeling exactly the same. I’ve had a bit of lower back pain and rang the fertility clinic for some advice / reassurance. They are going to do an hcg beta blood test to see what my levels are and if they’re rising. I’ve really got it into my head that this one isn’t going to stick. I’m also being a pain in the arse to my dh and feeling terrible for causing him grief Sad.

How are you all doing?! Xx

Star198 · 30/11/2017 21:07

Hi willma
Its such a nerve wracking time and i think even more so after our journeys to get here. Your dh is there to support you so dont worry im sure its all so normal. Its best to be cautious i think :)

All ok here. Achy sicky tired and headache today but i guess it means all it continuing. Horrible not being able to see whats going on x

Yorkshirelass27 · 02/12/2017 10:39

A BFN here 😢 So it's back to the drawing board. Don't suppose anyone knows of any charities who help with IVF funding?
Hope you are all well x

willma86 · 04/12/2017 13:02

I’m so sorry to hear that Yorkshire. I don’t know of any charities i’m afraid. Look after yourself xx

Star198 · 04/12/2017 21:26
