IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Thanks guys I am ok. I am upset I guess, but that’s just coz it’s sudden. Feels weird after 8 years and didn’t have chance to say good bye to people, but all that is done is for the best. Better like this than hating going to work each day is it? Especially not the best time to be stressed 😘

Nd we was talking about paying for keeping embryos cz they sent us letter we need to pay £300 nd dats just one year BT our clinic sed they will take care of dis day we don't need pay lol will c on ma next app did they sorted dis or not

Atikakck I don’t understand why they keep messing with u and saying this? I don’t remember if I wrote this, but my hospital said 5 years free. Now they changing company that freeze embryos. Don’t know if this means they can change the free storage time? Everything is so messed up and uncertain 😤

Aliona - first we tort we can store our embryos for 3 years free BT then Ave got letter wich sed we need pay in December wich will b 1 year so we spoken to our clinic nd they sed they will take care of dis lyk ring der etc nd we don't need to pay BT will C on ma next app if they sorted dis

Dinks - thank u xx BT am end up ill, had a block nose yesterday so a used spray to nose nd from date tym ma throat nd nose bad already had abt 6 honey lemon tea nd had lempsip too, if it's guna b lyk dat a fink ma lining will b poor... Hi. Thanks for the all well wishes. It hasn't quite sunk in yet and I know that we're not in the clear yet but just want to enjoy every moment as much as possible. I've called the clinic and they've booked us in for an early scan in 3 weeks time. Something to work towards!

harry how are you feeling? Remind me did you have 1 or 2 put back in?

atik hope you don't get side effects and that everything goes well for your transfer. Sounds like they are messing you about with payment for embryo freezing. What a nightmare!

Hey otters. I am debating it right now. Bit silly to sit around, but then appointments are coming up in a few weeks, maybe better just to take it easy and get on with ivf journey and look for something after. For sure I will be doing nothing for next few weeks, didn’t have holiday since one week in may. And then we ll see if I miss working 😁 although u right, Big change for me and I hate change

I had my transfer this A.M all went without a hitch and the consultant was super pleased.

out of the 10 embies we had 6 top grade (5AA) and the others are pretty good too!👏🏻

So just got to hope embie now sticks !🤞🏻DH and celebrated by having brekkie in Woking, now the 2WW begins! 😬

aliona your so brave but good for you! So days I wish I could tell my Work were to stick it!! Just concentrate on all the appointments coming up.

I am ok I guess, back at work this week so feel busy and tired. I have my follow up appointment next week. Still gutted it did not work buy hey, it's the past now. It's not always easy but I try to stay positive.

Aliona I’m pretty sure you may actually have worked for my old boss...sounds EXACTLY the same!! Except I’m in the north!! After 8 years I had basically the same conversation except he screamed at me, I then told him to put it in writing which he stupidly did & I threatened him with tribunal & walked away with negotiated package. DICK 💩 some men are not meant to be employers I’m afraid. Why we stick it out indeed I don’t know. If you van whilst you do this then maybe take Christmas off as things will slow down...I was a recruiter. Treat yourself for having stuck it out!!

Definite BFN for me this morning, as expected really. We're doing ok, bit up and down but trying to look forward and make the most of what we've got. DH was awake during the night and feeling sad. He broke my heart a bit because he's been so strong and supportive throughout, always putting me first, although it's good that he isn't bottling it up too. It's half term here and we're both off work today and tomorrow with DD which is just what we need. I'm restarting couch 25k this morning (for about the 10th time!) - I'm feeling the need to get back to a good gym regime and thought this would be a good starting point.

Filip, sorry- just reread your post and see you have your review appt next week. Good luck with that - remind me, do you have any frosties?

Thanks hardy ottersaliona minstercouldn’t have asked for more our embies have done us proud, makes you wonder why we can’t get pregnant naturally.

I’m delighted how far we’ve come but still have my realist head on to take each day as it comes. DH is over the moon and super excited and treating like im preggers already which am I say I’m not comfortable with. I guess for me until I see a + test and in fact a baby in my arms I may never be truly excited. 😕

otters they would only introduce 1 due to my age and being my first round of IVF, and I’m gettiing a call this morning to tell me how many Frosties I will have.
Thanks for the tip of staying relaxed and positive, there’s not much more I can do now apart from wait! I bet you cannot wait until the next scan! 😬

hardy bless you I’m feeling for you right now, it’s so good your DH is being supportive and also open with his feelings, it so only makes you guys stronger. Enjoy your time off together with DD have some fun, have a wine ! And I think getting back to the gym and releasing some of this lose feel good hormones is a great idea!
