IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Oh god my poor ladies! As I wrote yesterday afternoon I really felt super meh, so once and got home had a shower and a soup, I put myself to bed as it was the only thing I could do. I fell asleep straight away, so I guess I needed it. Not sure if this is a side effect of the pessaries, but if they are we aren't going to be friends and I would need to give them a talk to! Anyway, all this to say I have missed crucial information and I am very sorry to hear about the scare. Minster, yes you are strong and yes there might be other reasons, so let's try to focus on the latter. Dinks i am glad things are better. Just relax. I am praying and meditating especially for you.

Aliona gosh sometimes I want to give you my number so that I can help you. I am also a Psychologist/Psychotherapist amongst other things and have electric heaters and have friends who could offer you a job! I hope today you will be smiling at your misfortunes and focusing on a wonderful future.

Thanks guys, here’s hoping for us all, on a lighter note yesterday it was haling here so I put puppy in DDogs old jumper & she was like WTF??!!! Then got going...& here it’s ❄️❄️Now!!

Minster aww little buddies. It’s freezing and I really don’t want to leave the house. Lucky 💩👜 had her walk this morning and I need to do evening walk 😒 at least it’s not raining!
What’s happening with your tests? When you going to know?

Right, so.....I just got a call...and I don't have 4 but 5!? Anyway, apparently today they supposed to be 6 cells - 1 is 5 cells, 2 are 4 cells, 1 is 9 cells and 1 is 11 cells. They booked me in today at 2pm for the 2 (9 & 11 cells) transfer. Annnnnnd breaaaatheeeee! They will leave the 3 others to become blastocysts and if any do well they will freeze them.

I asked isn't better to wait for Saturday? and her reply was, we usually wait to see which ones are best but today we can clearly see the 2 best ones. Plus the other 3 are a bit slow so we prefer to transfer them today because they are doing very well and we don't want to take any risks. At that point I did cry of joy and she was like are you ok?

So here is my story ladies. It is all good right?

Sorry for being awol the past few days. I've just had a quick read to catch up and want to send loads of love to you Dinks and Minster. I'm keeping everything crossed that it is just a scare, a horrible, pointless scare, but just a scare all the same. I hope the bleeding stops and the scans go well.

Aww am a Lil bit worried now.. Cz whenever a was put pessaries nd den obviously a pad Cz it's getting too messy den De next day morning dis all melting thing a cud c on dat pad nd was white obviously cz the pessaries are white... BT today morning they was like brownish..... Y is dat... Isit smtg wrong.. 9days ago a had transfer...

Atik maybe it’s good thing, implantation meant to be brown. Don’t stress. U have your test day tomorow? Is it the blood test?

aliona yh tomorrow a hv blood test just dis pessaries looked brownish greyish too cz if already few days ago a had positive test it's too late for implantation discharge

Atik well.. if u think about it, when bleeding happens coz of implantation it’s pretty small, maybe it takes time to make it it’s way out..in fact it might just stay inside as it’s not significant. And bcoz u having pessaries-it brought the discharge out. I don’t know what to say. Trying to find positive explanation!! U ll get answers soon xx

My next acupuncture is next Wednesday im looking forward to it, but looking even more to my first counselling session I feel I need to unload some emotional baggage! Where is your practice?

Minster and Dinks I hope that you are both OK sending you hugs and love, I hope that what is happening is "normal" as normal as IVF can be and that there is nothing to sorry about. just keep calm and relaxed as possible much love to you both stay positive!

Aliona Im a celeb I love it!! Warren is a bit of a babe! [smiile] glad has the heating and hot water been sorted ! its so cold out there my 30 min walk this a.m was brisk! I wonder what all you ladies look like! I have an instagram account but it's mainly pictures of food LOL! I follow a few IVF instagrams but there doesn't seem to be anyone near me... I wish sometimes I could go to a group to speak face to face to others going through IVF, perhaps we should guess what each other looks like?

Aliona I do a great dodgy accent! ...I work in the global department in an insurance company and I speak to people all across the world...olga my contact from Moscow is just so funny and she's bonkers always puts a smile on my face...a bit like your funny posts on here!!

Dbear this is it my job is in Business I don't practice because I never liked their way of doing things. I do things my way, always 😜. But if you need downloading you should see somebody, it will help. You are really not far from it all!!! Yes I can't wait for the retreat, nothing but meditation, yoga and FOOD 😬. I will be going to Oxfordshire, beautiful in the middle of nowhere!!!

Minster Noooo not you too. It’s awful, awful limbo. I am sending all my wishes to your friend, I really hope it’s ok. The nurses kept emphasising how common it is, and most of the time it’s fine. I hope that’s the case for you xxx

Aliona It is really freezing here too. Minus 3 this morning when we left the house, I couldn’t feel my fingers on the steering wheel. When I got home last night I had a heart attack because I thought the builder had accidentally let the cats out, they were nowhere to be seen, then we found them both snuggled under the duvet purring away. They have never done that before, they must have been freezing. I don’t blame them... I got under the duvet too!!! I am so glad cats don’t need to be walked.

Atik I think brown stuff is fine... especially if you are using pessaries which will definitely upset your balance!!

Dbear Lovely to hear from you, it sounds like you are in a good headspace right now! I actually have no idea what you look like at all... You need to give us some clues!! I don’t use instagram (my life is too boring to photograph) so we can start playing Guess Who!!

Star That is amazing news!!! I’m thrilled for you!!! Good luck for the transfer, it is so much easier than anything else, and you might get to see your embryos!! Get those babies on board lol

As for me, I feel really really sick today, nausea is back with a vengeance. I only hope this is a good sign that the pregnancy is still strong. I am still bleeding, but mostly old blood. I just wish it would stop... I am going to the bathroom every 20 minutes to check how much bleeding there is. I finish the progesterone injections at the weekend, and am worried what will happen without them... I know they are meant to prevent bleeding, so if I stop them will the bleeding get worse? The nurse says not, as by now the placenta is almost formed and produces it’s own hormones...

Argh this is turning me into a nervous wreck!!! I have a PhD in economics and this is making me feel like a schoolgirl, I feel so stupid and unprepared. Rant over. I have to go to a meeting... zzzzzzz

Dinks dog had walk this morning from my OH and then by midday started winging so I had to take her again 😤 omg I didn’t know how I spend most of my life in Russia 😅 freezing.. my OH does landscaping and I feel oh so sorry for him today.

Also went for interview across the road. Guy who was talking to me turned out to be Russian speaking 😒 anyway I said no to them..maybe I am being fussy but I had to work every single weekend till 18.30.. I offered some weekends, but they want every Saturday and Sunday. I would hate that ☹️

Dinks when I miscarried I knew it happened even before my bleeding started. At first I had all possible pregnancy symptoms, but then Monday bad headache and suddenly next day I had nothing left, no sickness, nothing.. so I reckon u feeling unwell is a very good sign!! Xx

star you will be in now & I massively hope it goes well, I will add that both of our embryos were frozen & transferred at 10/11 cell & we got the BFP so it’s great! Best thing to do it now & not waste those obviously feisty little buggers!!! 😁😁

So we had our scan this morning & ALL IS GOOD!!! there is a baby there that was measuring about right & they even got a heartbeat! Like dinks no reason for the bleeding & it’s worrying as hell but the clinic say try & be soft with the pessaries

It kind of feels real now, both myself & my friend started blubbing! DH rushing home now.

Atik I agree with the others, brown discharge is not a bad thing, keep going seemingly we are all having to have go through further trials with this lovely journey
