3rd or more time lucky - IVF cycle buddies October

Hi Just wondering of there are folks on here who are about to go through their 3rd + time of IVF who want a cycle buddy? I dont mean it badly towards anyone who is starting their IVF journey for the first time, (i was there just this time last year after all) but I feel a bit like I cant be as optomistic about it as I was, so dont want to drag any first timers down? Hope that makes sense!
Anyway, just to explain about me:
TTC #2 for over 2.5 years now
Unexplained Secondary Infertility (have 4 year old DS)
Age 40.5
AMH: 15.4
2 failed fresh and 1 falied FET (with single frozen 3BB embryo we got from 2nd fresh round)
about to start 3rd fresh round when my period starts in approx 7-10 days, so will probably be late october EC.
anyone else a bit jaded, but still vaguely hopeful want to join me?

Just try and stay chilled. I know you have a little one already but is there anything you can do to get some headspace between now and Monday? Acupuncture? A massage?

Bjones you all seem to be lovely I have been worried about talking to strangers since another forum wasn't very supportive I am starting to get worried about my last attempt of ivf so much so i was wide awake at 3am with so much on my mind I have my scan Tuesday and I fly out week Wednesday to Spain xx

Hi all - thanks so much for being so lovely and supportive x so far so good today - no bleeding yet, so I see that as a minor victory anyway as never got this far on a fresh round before. Had friends round this afternoon, so thankfully been busy to keep my mind off everything, but of course in quiet moments it’s all I can think of...
I just want to sleep tomorrow away, partly cos I’m tired (this whole process is exhausting no matter what isn’t it?!) but also to get to Monday’s blood test quicker hopefully without incident. I haven’t tested again, but prob will on Monday am, as don’t want to go in for bloods thinking the wrong thing.
So how’s everyone else doing?

Thanks all - did another POAS this morning and was still a line - albeit faint still, so slightly nervous it didn’t look v dark yet.. are internet cheapies (one stop) just like that? I haven’t got any other FRER to compare to the first one....
Blood test result will be back round lunchtime... 🤞🤞

Beta HCG was 141, so I think I can now finally say I am officially (for now) pregnant! I can’t actually believe it. Now just need to get through the next 8 months without incident! 🤞
Due to having had ectopic before they are going to scan me in 2 weeks to check it’s in the right place, then probably again the following week to check for heartbeat... the anxious waiting never ends does it?! Xx

Thanks guys - it really does mean a lot. Long way to go yet, but at least there’s some hope, but I’m v nervous as clinic have said I should stop my progesterone now, as shouldn’t need it ... I think I’m going to ignore them for now until I run out!
Bjones I didn’t do much different this time, I had higher stims (300 rather than 225 gonal f) and I took coQ10 which I didn’t last times. But other than that I actually stopped acupuncture as rushing about trying to get to it was counter-productive, and I did the same as last time in terms of eating a high protein diet during stims, but that was it. I think I’ve just been lucky this time - I just hope it lasts. I really can’t tell you how much I hope it works out for us all - keeping my fingers crossed for everyone xx

Such wonderful news Hobbes, congratulations. I hope the next few weeks fly by so you can get to that point where you feel really confident about it all. Blood test results sound good. I know the worrying doesn’t stop but try to enjoy being pregnant!
