Hi Ladies! Finally I will have my first IVF treatment as soon as my next cycle starts which I expect it to be more or less end of September/beginning of October. My periods are very irregular so I never know exactly. My consultant suggested antagonist protocol which I will receive in post soon. I am extremely excited but then realistic about the fact that it might not be successful first time.

How are you feeling ladies? When are you due to start your Ivf Journey? Fingers crossed for all of us fighters;-)

Dinks I've used Clearblue Digital one, hence I do not really think that the result will change tomorrow as it is such a sensitive test I heard....

On ma last go Ave been on other forum nd the girls sed dat " first response " is the best nd dat tym a did use it a fink 6or7 days after transfer nd showed positive

Atikakck · 28/10/2017 10:04

Awww a feel for u girls... Dat sooooo hurt emotionally.. Even now a feel down after dis news... R u guna try again?

otters2017 · 28/10/2017 10:05

filip I think the clearblue are not as sensitive. Get a first response FRER test. They've expensive but worth it.
Is today your OTD?

hardy so sorry to hear about af. As you say there might a chance that one embie is hanging on in there so just continue with meds and rest again in a few days. Sending lots of hugs and love Flowers

harry how are you getting on?

I'll have to catch up with everyone else later!

Filipinam · 28/10/2017 10:10

Yes it's my OTD today. I did use First Response yesterday in the morning (could not wait anymore) and it was negative. I am going to but First Response today to check tomorrow morning as suggested by my clinic today. Hopefully my urine was not concentrated enough... but I doubt it will change the result, it's my 11th day after 5 day transfer-the blastocyst was AA grade so it either did not implant or I had a miscarriage?!! Although I only had some bleeding/spotting since the 8th day past transfer and when wiping in the morning only then some light coffee discharge from time to time....

Hardy I am sure it is difficult to just put everything on hold but with everything you have been thorough if there is a chance then I concur wit Aliona, believe until the final results are in.

Filip waiting until tomorrow will be challenging but the lovely Alison's just shared a very relevant experience. Fingers crossed for you sweetie 🌟

Well just got back from ASDA, should have all my meds on Tuesday evening.

I am off to Avebury, the lovely countryside of Whilshire with some friends to try and recharge my battery after this crazy week. Lots of walking and a nice picture meal 😜. I don't drink at all, but I loveeeee my food😛.

i am sending to all of you lots of warm thoughts, hugs and love ✨🌟💫

Starlumiere · 28/10/2017 10:38

Aliona19 · 28/10/2017 11:08

Starlumiere I was looking forward to the picture of your meal and then you fixed your bad spelling 😂 damn
And why would you lose this thread? I have it open on my phone plus get tonnes of emails each time someone posts

Aliona19 · 28/10/2017 11:10

Filipinam Also even if it’s negative, again, take it as a good thing. Better right now than further into pregnancy. You can relax now and have lovely xmas and then have frozen transfer that will work! My friends fresh cycle didn’t work and she had frozen one and now expecting a baby girl 🙃 never ever give up

Post will stop at 1000! Hi ladies!
So much happening so quickly on this thread nice to see everyone moving along quickly with EC and transfers and I wish you all the luck and baby dust and it’s nice to see that everyone’s body is cooperating after EC and have not experienced something like @dinksandbinks and I

I ended up going back into hospital for a night on Thursday as I woke up with stabbing back pain in my kidney on my right side and extreme chest pains I couldn’t take anything normal then I little breath in.. I had chest X-ray and 2 CT scans on chest and kidney as they said bloat clots/pulmonary embolisms AND kidney stones can be a result from OHSS and they were worried I might have BOTH. I was so scared again and back to square 1 I think like. Thankfully they were all clear form the big diagnosis but I still have fluid in my right lung which they thing is causing this discomfort and sharpe stabbing pain when I breath in. The worst would happen in the night because I was laying down. They have diagnosed pluralsy which is from the fluid causing this pain. Have to be on constant rotation of pain killers and sleep sitting up for about a week until it heals.

I am so sorry for the 2 that have just had bfn my heart aches for you two so much. Do what you feel is right for now take time heal heal, ask your clinics if they have more of an explanation and if there is a next step when you feel the time is right but for now maybe get your hair done, get your nails done or a massage and take time for yourselves to relax and reflect.

Aliona19 · 28/10/2017 13:44

ElizabethCatherine 🙁 I am sorry you going through this nightmare. Wishing you all the best and hopefully it will be all over soon. Also let this be the worst experience in your entire life and from now on-only positive things 🌹

ElizabethCatherine · 28/10/2017 13:49

For the ladies talking about maternity pants yeah I hear top shop is good and they have those nice under the bump ones for early pregnancy and bloated days. Just read the reviews as I’ve seen some good reviews on some like Joni and Leigh but Jamie not so much. I think I’ll wait to go into store to buy a pair to try them all on for the best fit as they are on the more expensive side.
Asos is also great and seem to have some good options for black leggings and jeans too.. when I was in hospital I had so much time to research and look for something that I could wear for my 5/6 month bump from the fluid I needed something that was super comfy and not going to dig in at all (I couldn’t even wear underwear I was wearing the hospital size undies only. I got this AMAZING pair or super comfy light and stretchy pair of joggers that I am living in at home and honestly can’t recommend them enough and only £16 and free delivery with £20 and free returns can’t go wrong. For anyone looking for something super comfy for the home and after egg collection I’ll post them here

Ha, yes we need to start need thread, has anyone done one before? I haven't but there's a button for it up there so it can't be that difficult??!!

Got puppy, she made it admirably through the one hour 45 min journey home, peed on me about 15 mins away from her new home so I can't blame that! I am just waiting for her to relax and show her best side & I'll get a good picture, she's been meeting her new housemate so getting used to him! Watch this space

Minster2012 · 28/10/2017 14:51

So I started a new thread but I'm not sure if I can do a link..,

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/infertility/3072165-IVF-SEP-OCT-Part-2-Get-your-Stretchy-Leggings-here-ladies?watched=1

Does it work???

Aliona19 · 28/10/2017 15:39

It does minster 😘

Minster2012 · 28/10/2017 15:51

Ok great, so I can fill this thread up with puppy spam?! If ppl want!!

GINDOG!!!! Or she's called Nyx

Current dog seems to be taking it his stride! I'm reliably informed she will grow into her ears (but my DH was told the same as a child!)
