IVF Cycle Buddies August/September?

Anyone starting a cycle this month? I know there's a July/August thread, but seems that they've mostly all started on their cycles. I'm due to start DR tomorrow and if all goes well will have EC at the beginning of September.

Have not shared our IVF journey with too many people in IRL so would love to have a bit of company here. This will be our first go at IVF, so quite nervous at the mo!

Getting quite a bit of pain today... like a burning in the bottom of my back 😟 desperate to just do a test but husband really doesn’t want me to too.. incase it’s not right. Haven’t had pain like this the whole 2ww. Just pressure.

Anyways, I’ll stop moaning for now! Lol xx

@BeHereNow31 moaning is good! That’s what we are here for!!! 😁 regarding your back ache... not sure if it is or not an actual Ivf related symptom. Either way-You will know tomorrow for sure.
I’m too stressed about tomorrow as it’s the official date and what if it comes back negative.... no point thinking, will be what will be .

Fox23 you have had so many positive tests already. I think that’s a good sign so far! Do you test again in the morning? I’ll have to wait till 12 for the results. Lots of luck for you too xx

Between 12 and 1. Really don’t think it’s worked 😔 haven’t felt anything, except period pain.

How will your day work? Do you take a pregnancy test this morning, or just email clinic with the results you’ve had so far? Xx

@BeHereNow31 have you had your test? Keep us posted. I understand you feeling it hasn't worked - I hope you're wrong - there's no real way to know other than the test today. If things don't work out, well we'll cross that bridge if we get to it. For now tho, let's hope all is well

Just had the blood test, and will get results at 12:30. Can’t stop crying. Especially when they reminded us that we don’t have any frozen embryos 😭 xx

@BeHereNow31 oh no!!!! I’m so so sorry! There is nothing anybody can say to soften the blow. Take time to grieve and take it in. Clouds will pass, and you will be able to talk about it and how you will move forward.

@BeHereNow31 shit. I'm so sorry. There's nothing I can say to make it better. I've just had a failed cycle myself as you know, so I do get how shit it is.

@BeHereNow31 you have all rights to feel sad, angry, confused etc etc ... don’t rush yourself into accepting it. It will take time unsurprisingly. Once again- I’m ever so sorry!
You are so young and you can sit back, regroup and start again... there is no other way, is there ... don’t give up on your dream, please, you will get there 😘

@Janefx40 I’ve been panicking about my hcg levels as some tests came back very faint. So I got the same tests used last week just to have proper comparison and it seems to be ok- nice and dark. Still, waiting for a phone call from clinic to book an appointment. 🤞🤞🤞

@Fox23 it must be a nervy time. I don't think the worry ends with a BFP (not that I've had one). Have you taken a Clearblue digital?

When I was measuring my hcg levels after the last cycle I bought the least sensitive tests intentionally to see how high the levels were.

Glad the lines seem to be stronger now.

My private clinic do blood tests every 2 days post BFP and drive everyone nuts with the constant panic about hcg levels - I think that is overkill!
