Hi all! I know there's a June/July thread but I've started this one as I'm so far behind everyone else and wanted to find others at the same stage as me!

We're due to start a FET after a failed fresh cycle in march resulted in a CP. We got 5 Frosties which I'm so pleased with and we're putting two frozen ones back this time.

AF came yesterday, so I'm booked in for scratch on 24th of this month and start DR on 22nd.

I joined a thread on my last cycle and it helped me so much as I am very private with all of this. So I'm hoping to find others to share with again 😊

Amazing need Duck, we are very close with treatment! I'm sure ur icsi will work 🤞🏻 I'm just about to go to metafit, first bit of exercise in 2 weeks wish me luck 😂

thegamblersmrs · 08/08/2017 17:22

Wow loads going on! How did the exercise go? That's great you feel up to it after ec. I'm going to attempt combat and yoga tonight in prep for 1st injections tomorrow and rewarding myself with a night off.

Congrats to all with all their eggs!!!

Leanne1185 · 08/08/2017 18:00

It did not go well I ended up in agony with cramp after so definitely went back too soon I'll give it another couple of days before trying again! Injections tomo..woohoo xx

ChoChang · 08/08/2017 18:59

Wow so much to catch up on today.

Glad EC went well duck and 4 fertilised is good news leanne. Welcome clown, sorry youve ended up here but its nice to be with people in the same boat. Hope the scan went ok today chivin, ive had it myself while on day 2 of cycle, and its not pleasant but over with quickly enough. 17 still looking good at this stage is great crying, best of luck for ET tomorrow. Let us know if you go for 1 or 2 embies!

Sorry i know i will have missed some things, the threads so busy today!

Im just waiting for af to get here so i can start stimming. I can feel its on the verge but usually get spotting for a few days before it kicks in properly so i reckon it could be fri/sat before i get going. Spent the last 5 years hoping not to get af and now it cant come soon enough!

thegamblersmrs · 08/08/2017 19:08

I know Chang it's mental!

My clinic phoned today to change my scan, they've brought it forward by a few days which I'm delighted about. I felt a week and a half off the reigns was too much!

I'm bloated as hell, luckily I did you tube body combat as I was just basically a windy uncomfortable mess!! Tmi. I then did some yoga but got bored!

ChoChang · 08/08/2017 19:34

Thats good news about the scan gamblers, i did think it was a long while to wait but i guess different clinics have different set ups. I think it gives you peace of mind if youre in fairly regularly anyway, reduces the worry a bit.

If i follow the same timeline as last time I will start stimming and then have a scan day 6 /7, then again at day 9/10, then EC day 13.

Sorry youre feeling bloated and uncomfortable, but at least its for good reason! Always gotta think of the end goal when feeling rubbish in this process dont we!

MelbourneClown03 · 08/08/2017 22:51

Wow! This is a busy thread Shock I'll try and keep up.
You all sound like you're all cooking lots of lovely eggs, which means lots of possible embryos.

Day 2 of Cyclogest here and I'm feeling it. My stomach has pinged out wasn't that flat to begin with, felt really drained all day and had to have an hours nap at lunchtime. Thankfully I'm off work at the moment but dreading feeling like this for weeks to come.

Missmeluk · 09/08/2017 00:30

So can't sleep! Got my down ref scan tomorrow which I'm nervous about as still no af but the nurse said I might not have one. OH has had one so hoping they tell us she can start on stims and still move forward.

Fingers crossed 🤞

thegamblersmrs · 09/08/2017 07:22

Miss I hope it all goes well. It's amazing how they are coordinating it all.

First injection in the bag! Was amazed at how easy it was. I won't get too cocky as I'll probably be eating my words tonight!

thegamblersmrs · 09/08/2017 07:50

Someone recommended isotonic drinks, was that for after ec?

Whatamuddleduck · 09/08/2017 08:23

Hooray! Clinic just called to say that all 8 eggs fertilised. Phew!

Yay gamblers- you'll be fine now you've got the first one done.

Leanne- I'm blooming impressed that you tried excercise! No chance here, if feeling slightly doubtful about having a shower I feel that. Odd!

thirtyplusone · 09/08/2017 09:01

Wooo duck! Great news

Pleased about scan and injections gamblers.

Hi floof, I do have pcos but I have no symptoms of it oddly. Though I do have endometriosis so that masks anything and everything 🤣 Hope to hear about egg collection day today.

Off to scan number 2 in a min. Woke up at 5am with the worst anxiety about the whole thing. I've been fine up till now. Eek.

Leanne1185 · 09/08/2017 09:56

Sounds like lots of good things happening reading this this morning yay!!! Thirty that's a shame u feel anxious this morning but u will feel so much better after ur scan I'm sure!!
Clown Iv been on cyclogest since Monday and I absolutely hate it, I would rather be on injections at least u can get on with ur day, I'm lying here too scared to move incase I muck it up and don't know if I'm placing them high enough (sorry that's gross), not to mention the tummy pain this morning and feeling like I have PMS...ooft this is a proper moan sorry girls xx

Nowwhyareyoucrying · 09/08/2017 10:06

Great news duck! 8 is awesome!

Yes gamblers I got recommended smart water, electrolyte drinks, coconut water and lucozade after ER, replacing all the fluid floating about with OHSS and helping reduce or stop it.

Leanne i feel the same about the pessary, never really know if I'm doing it right. And I have had a bit of abdo/period type cramps for a short while after I do them.

Sat in the clinic waiting to hear how my embryos are doing on day5, then going in for the transfer. I'm scared! Have just had acupuncture which was nice.

thirtyplusone · 09/08/2017 10:57

Fingers crossed for you crying!

Thanks Leanne :) are you working or do you have some time off?

Nursing an espresso at the shard to stop me having a nap in the street 🤣 No progress really in my little eggs 🤔Between 9 and 12. Starting orgalutran tonight. Slow and steady 🐌

Leanne1185 · 09/08/2017 11:13

I'm a teacher so got another well off although going in tomo and Friday to get organised! I'm in agony today with abdominal pain so going to phone the clinic!
Between 9 and 12 sounds very promising yippee!! Slow and steady wins the race lol x

thegamblersmrs · 09/08/2017 11:57

Trying to catch up on lunch break.
Leanne hope you're ok and the clinic gives you some advice. Take it easy. Maybe the exercise?

MelbourneClown03 · 09/08/2017 12:25

Leanne I'm also a teacher so very much appreciating the summer hols.

I know what you mean about doing the Cyclohest correctly. I started off putting them in vaginally but I was worried about the positioning and that too much of the dose was sqidging out - sorry honest but perhaps a bit TMI. I checked with my clinic and they said to do them rectally which has been much, much better.

Duck - 8 fertilised eggs is great. You have so many more options open to you when you have more than a couple to use.

BiscuitBill · 09/08/2017 15:25

Another teacher, you are the third clown!
8 fertilised embies is great news duck!
Crying how did the ET go???

OP posts:
Missmeluk · 09/08/2017 16:47

So back from the scan and they've said we can move to the next stage woohoo!!
OH is starting her stims tomorrow 300 is her dose which seemed quite high?? She's in for another scan next Wednesday.
I've got to start my prognova tonight and have got my scan next Friday.
As another teacher I'm so glad we planned to do a majority of the treatment over the holidays but not sure how it going to feel being back at work as I'm really struggling to sleep.

@duck that's great news so just the wait now for the et I'm most nervous about the 2ww as don't want to go anything wrong after all of this.
@leanne not looking forward to the pessaries after what I've read either the things we do hey!

Keep the positive thoughts going!! Grin

ChoChang · 09/08/2017 17:49

Yay well done on first injection gamblers. First is always the worst youll breeze it now 😂

duck 8 fertilised is fab, congrats. Hope they keep developing into lovely embies.

How did you get on crying? Hope all was well.

Sorry youve been feeling anxious thirty, it can hit you at the most random times cant it. Hope your scan put you at ease, slow and steady is fine.

Great news on being able to progress missmel. What stims is your OH taking? Ill be doing Merional and my dose is 375, up from 225 last fresh cycle to try and get more eggs. Bit nervous about if Ill feel worse this time as quite a big increase!

Regarding the cyclogest, I got into a bit of a routine of doing them rectally in the morning when i needed to be up and about, and then vaginally at night when i knew i could just lie on the sofa or bed for a bit afterwards. TMI again but so is this whole process!

Nothing to report here, started spotting but no proper af yet.

Nowwhyareyoucrying · 09/08/2017 17:57

Great news Missmel, I think doses vary, I was on 200 and they said it was around average so I think 300 is fine. I guess they can always reduce it if necessary.

We had ET this morning, one little embryo 5AB. Hoping it snuggles in for a good nine months now. I was sedated so it was completely fine, except the cannula killed, as did the sedative this time. And now I've got a sore bump on my hand, the anaesthesiologist was grumpy and a bit rough. But we've got 4-6 to freeze and they will let me know definite numbers in the morning so I'm feeling good!!

thegamblersmrs · 09/08/2017 18:56

Aw crying I have everything crossed for you. Really hope it gets comfy. Get a hot water bottle on your tummy and make it nice a warm. 🤞🏻

BiscuitBill · 09/08/2017 19:38

Congrats crying! You're officially the first into the 2ww 😁 how exciting! You're now what they call PUPO (pregnant until proven otherwise)! Great news on the Frosties as well!

BiscuitBill · 09/08/2017 19:39

Gamblers I was told absolutely NO hot water bottles last time! Or hot baths or sunbathing or anything that might raise your core temperature!
