IVF Cycle buddies March/April

I know we are only partway through February, but I'm down to start our 2nd round of IVF once my period starts at the end of this month, so thought I'd start a cycle buddies thread now as I gear up..!
Our history is that we have a 3.5yo DS, naturally conceived, but have been trying for a sibling for 2 years now... we had an ectopic pregnancy just over a year ago, but after that nothing... so as I'll be 40 next month, we decided there wasn't time to waste anymore and had all the tests last year but we are 'unexplained'... so we had a cycle of IVF in November/December but sadly was unsuccessful as ended in a chemical pregnancy. So here we go again - fingers crossed it's 2nd time lucky...! If anyone else is starting soon then would be great to have the support! Xx

Thank you! Don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight and it's not till 12:30 so what's the bet I wake up at 6am like I usually do for work!!

No phone call this morning so it looks like I'll. e going in for ET today. I'm a bit gutted I'm getting a day-3 transfer instead of day-5 but I've probably not done myself any favours but reading too much stuff that says blasts have a better chance of implanting.

And of course they just called. What a bloody emotional rollercoaster! So ET is now Wednesday. Of our 9 fertilised eggs they said 4 are developing nicely. Numbers and statistics scare me so much.

Well I just spoke to my clinic this morning and they were able to freeze 3 of my 4 remaining embryos. That's better than I even hoped for, so really pleased!

How's everyone else doing? lulah fingers crossed for test day on Wednesday, so nearly there. Bee hang on in there, the week will pass before you know it. Nemo great news on your Frosties but here's hoping you don't need them. Who else is still in the 2ww now?

Thanks musha - anxiety is increasing daily! I feel literally nothing physically and am trying hard not to think about it because I stress that if I think it hasn't worked, then it won't have and if I think it has worked, then it won't have! I'm turning into a total crazy person

Fantastic news nemo! Hopefully you won't need them but it must be a great feeling to know they're there just incase!
I've no idea when my OTD will be, it's one of the first things I plan to ask!

I'm already getting cramps and sore boobs from the progesterone.. So this 2ww is going to be a night mare I can tell already 😩

My mind is playing those same tricks on me too lulah. I haven't had any symptoms of implantation bleeding nor sore boobs, or anything to indicate something is going on down there. Except for slight pressure or tiny discomfort which I've had since BEFORE my ET. I'm thinking it must be my bowels or my left side ovary? It's kinda like before my AF is due to start, and then I wonder if I'm just imagining it?!... but like you, I'm trying not to stress or think it's not worked this time, cause then I'm jinxing it negatively. Keep strong for the next couple of days!

Just waiting in reception and the embryologist came and introduced herself and said they have a 'beautiful' one to put back in.. What ever that means?! Haha I'm assuming they'll tell me more when I go in. So nervous right now I can feel my heart in my throat

I can't believe it, 1 grade 5 blast put back and 5 Frosties with the possibility of more tomorrow! I broke down in tears when she told me, it's all gone so well so far I just hope it keeps it up 🤞🏼
