IVF Cycle buddies March/April

I know we are only partway through February, but I'm down to start our 2nd round of IVF once my period starts at the end of this month, so thought I'd start a cycle buddies thread now as I gear up..!
Our history is that we have a 3.5yo DS, naturally conceived, but have been trying for a sibling for 2 years now... we had an ectopic pregnancy just over a year ago, but after that nothing... so as I'll be 40 next month, we decided there wasn't time to waste anymore and had all the tests last year but we are 'unexplained'... so we had a cycle of IVF in November/December but sadly was unsuccessful as ended in a chemical pregnancy. So here we go again - fingers crossed it's 2nd time lucky...! If anyone else is starting soon then would be great to have the support! Xx

Hobbes, bjones and Hope - how did your scans go today?

Hi all - hope everyone is good today?
Good luck for tomorrow to HHno & blackcherries - I hope we can be the lucky thread and all get BFPs!
I had my 2nd scan this morning - was positive and negative - so overall ok. Good news is they counted 9 follicles, but bad news is that 5 have jumped ahead and 4 are small. So they have given me the ovitrelle to take tomorrow night, with EC on Monday morning! I had hoped they'd hold off til Tuesday to allow the smaller ones to catch up, but I think they are worried the big ones will get too big by then.. so Monday it is. My blood test said my Estrogen was 1530, not sure if that's good or not, can't remember what it was last time...!

Thanks for asking lullahbelle I keep having to go back up the thread to see what stage everyone is at, much easier on a laptop than a phone!
It went well thank you. One had "galloped ahead" as they put it. She said that was probably a cyst which they'll drain. One is still small so that leaves 7 that are looking good.
Exactly the same as you Hobbes, trigger tomorrow night and EC Monday. Am so excited for a lie in on Sunday as no injections!
Scary to be sent through by e mail a Timetable from Trigger Injection to Pregnancy Test.

Hobbes and bjones, that's great news that you have EC on Monday - so exciting. 5 sounds like a good number to me Hobbes - and some of the other 4 might develop enough over the next couple of days to be collectable (is that a word?! ) as well.

lulahbelle thanks for your post btw, I had no idea upset stomach was a common side effect so that's made me feel better and have been hoping DH doesn't get it so at least if it is related to tww it'll either be over soon or I won't care so much!

My period did come today so I'm off on Wednesday for my first scan! I was a bit worried as it's a bit early and I've only been on suprecur for 6 days and read that some women are on it for 2+ weeks, so thought that might be a bad sign but the nurse said 'the sooner the better'!

Thanks everyone so much for the support you have all been so lovely and I am so glad I joined this chat! I've been sobbing my eyes out all day...Bundle of nerves for tomo not feeling very positive with my spotting think I'm out but will wait for results tomo!

I have used 2 FRERs and for the faintest of lines on both! I'm not quite sure what to think as I would have thought any positive line would be quite strong after 16 days post egg collection? Going to send the pics to the clinic as I'm feeling a bit dubious...

I went back Annab and think blackcherries had EC on 21st and hhno on 22nd.

I had EC on 16th and transfer on 21st. Going to test again tomorrow. Currently worrying what to do about pessaries as still suffering with diarrhoea...

Mine was frozen cycle had transfer 22nd waiting outside clinic I'm so early!!!

Thanks guys I'm not holding much hope but either way at least it's a definite answer so will let you guys know think it takes a few hours after bloods have been taken!!!! 🙏 For me 😩
