FET Sept/Oct

Hi ladies,
I am due to start an FET in Sept/Oct and wondered if anyone else was too?! Had my first cycle of IVF in August but due to fluid in my uterus and thin lining had to freeze everything. I seem to always have fluid mid cycle, including natural cycles. Very worried that it will always be a problem and will never get to use my embryos. Having a hysteroscopy the week after next to check incase anything in there but doc suspects not. Would be great to have a few buddies! xxx

Gone from 5.4 to 7.2 in 2 days - really happy. They're scanning me again tomorrow and if I haven't had my surge yet they might trigger me. Hooray!

Bear2014 · 18/11/2016 17:17

Massive good luck tomorrow to Lolly and Blue xxx

Thanks for the kind wishes. I have a 3BC blastocyst on board and I'm thrilled! Two potential candidates for freezing if they develop further overnight - we'll find out tomorrow. DH was incredibly nervous though, more than me! There was a hairy moment though when we first arrived and the embryologist took us into a meeting room rather than the surgical area, and seriously kept us in suspense while she went through our notes...we were fully expecting to be told that there were no embryos to transfer. After then being told that there was a leading blastocyst, we nearly did a happy dance in the office.

Blueroses99 · 19/11/2016 12:03

Good luck Lolly xx

Bear2014 · 19/11/2016 12:11

Brilliant news, Blue. Good luck little embryo! Xx

Lolly2803 · 19/11/2016 12:12

I'm shaking. They just called and said i was pregnant and gave me the number - not sure what the numbers really mean or anything. They will call me later as they've now just asked to check my progesterone level to check all ok. I'm in total shock. I've been blaming the progesterone for everything!!

Blue that's great you are PUPO! I'll be here to keep you company. Get lots of rest and stay nice and warm! xx

Brilliant news ladies!!!!!

Blueroses99 · 19/11/2016 12:32

I didn't want to say before Lolly but I don't think heartburn is a classic side effect of progesterone...that's what gave it away for me last time - well that and a patch of dry itchy skin on my left hand which isn't a pregnancy symptom or related to progesterone but I had it all the time I was pregnant (before I even knew)!

I think DH needs a bit of hand holding...he was worried that the drive to SW England tomorrow or the bumpy roads would weaken my cervix Hmm

Lolly2803 · 19/11/2016 12:35

Oh really?! I just put everything down to the drugs. I've even had cramps today and thought it was all over. I was in total utter shock.

Blue I was on the bus the other day and it was vibrating really vigorously when stopped at traffic lights and I lifted my bum off the seat incase the embryos got jiggled out of place!!! The things we do honestly!!

I know it's very very early days but I haven't had much good news so I'm taking today as a good day whatever happens.

AMAZING news Lolly. So happy for you!

Brilliant for you too Blue! Such a happy news day :-)

Bear2014 · 19/11/2016 12:52

I'm booked in for transfer next Fri. I'm on progynova now (vaginally!) and Cyclogest tomorrow after my trigger shot tonight, so not sure what is natural about it but hey ho.

Lolly - you will get a lot of cramps as your uterus stretches so try not to freak out. Early days but great news indeed Smile xx

Lolly2803 · 19/11/2016 12:59

Yer I'd say the cramps aren't cramps it's more like stretching, pressure etc. I'm not worrying as I'm too exhausted!! Now it's just the wonder of whether it's one or two!!

Friday is the day! Wahoo! Not too long to wait Bear. You excited? I didn't know you could do progynova vaginally! How you feeling about it all?

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 19/11/2016 13:09

Not remotely excited at all Sad I've had way too much disappointment this year for that. My lining measured exactly the same today as it did yesterday and they huffed and puffed about it but didn't mention cancelling. Maybe the scratch will help with receptivity but I basically just see this cycle as something to see out the year. I'll be amazed if it works xx

Lolly2803 · 19/11/2016 13:13

What was your lining Bear? The progynova should give it a boost though. Aw well I'm excited and optimistic for you. I know it's tough though. How's DP? xx
