WANTED - Anyone in, or about to start 2ww post IVF/FET?

Currently going insane on 2WW post FET. Today is 3dp5dt. First transfer after a difficult time with unreponsive thin lining. No idea what to expect. Looking for cycle buddies to share this time with...

Good luck - I've just been through it and on day 10 had a complete meltdown with DH and was convinced it hadn't worked.

We got a positive but I did wait till the full 2 weeks were up in case the result was influenced by the drugs in my system.

Now waiting to go for my first scan and the wait for this is killing me too!

Thanks Hopeful! Great news for you and hoping your scan date comes round fast! My transfer was a natural FET so no hcg to wear off. I'm tempted to test tomorrow (equivalent of 10dpo) but I know this is too early.

I've just had my first scan and I'm a bit shell- shocked as we've just seen our little one!!! 7 weeks with a lovely strong heartbeat - I cried it was so amazing!

Me too..it goes sooo slowly! I had et on Tuesday so very early days for me.

It's my second transfer, the first is asleep in the room next to me.
I took a test at 5dp transfer and a bfn. It's now 7 days and I'm too scared to test. Got a really busy weekend so I'm going to key that distract me and push on into next week. Blood test on wednesday.

Symptoms are coming and going, but I know it's probably just the progesterone. Such a difficult wait!

That's really shitty kmmr. I'm sorry. I think I remember you from last time. I can't even remember my username but you may remember my story 2 ectopics, Ivf fail and then a 3rd ectopic. Finally got successful on FET and now trying for number 2.

Can I join this thread? Wondering if anyone is still in 2ww or if I need to start another one?

I do ET tomorrow. Terrified. Stressed and feeling very negative. My mum was in hospital yesterday having her stomach pumped (a long term alcoholic) so fending off additional stress.

Grr this process is shitty.

Poor you Kmmr. I've been there and it's really tough. Be very kind to yourself. Were you on progesterone suppositories or injections?

Tepidcat I am half way through my 2ww. Today i got superfixated on doing a hpt and it was unsurprisingly negative. And rationally I knew it was too early to test but I nearly needed to get it out of my system.
Am on gestone so not sure if I will bleed earlier than otd like I did last time. Kind of getting shitty flashbacks to the last time which is sad, so hoping it's different this time.

How are you doing Amara? Anyone else still waiting to test?

The wait is infuriating! 4dp5dt (FET) and I feel nothing. Convinced it is all over and frustrated I can't just find out now.

Hi folks, can I join? I'm not in the 2ww yet, but egg collection is booked for Friday. We've had one cycle of IVF which failed after zero fertilisation followed by a very very late fertilisation which resulted in a very fragmented low-grade embryo which failed to implant. This time round we're going for ICSI at Guys and St Thomas.

Hopefully ET will be on Weds 6th.

Amara I'm so sorry to hear that. This process really sucks. I know from bitter experience that there is nothing anyone can say to make it any better but I hope you get some peace (in whatever decision you come to) soon.

Hedgehog - I don't think there i anyone other than me left but you are welcome to hang out here. I test on Sunday but I'm not feeling very positive. I feel boring normal nothingness.

Hi there - I'm still watching and hoping for all of you ladies. I know the process is very unkind and heartbreaking.

We had ICSI and it helped us conceive so fingers crossed for you guys too.

Yesterday I felt a couple of intense waves of nausea but today I've gone back to feeling fine again. It's a total headfuck!

Any news yet TepidCat? I've just been called by the embryologist to say we have 10 fertilised embryos, so hoping for a 5-day transfer.

I'm praying and hoping like mad for you.

BFP! I'm in total shock. I thought I'd feel more confident this time but I'm paranoid it won't stick because the test isn't very strong.

Oh and that is fantastic news Hedgehog. Well done. We had 11 the first round and 3 went to blast. 1 failed, 1 is asleep upstairs and 1 has just given me a BFP. Fingers crossed. I know how nerve wrecking those calls from the embryologist are.

Hello ladies, I am in the 2ww too. Had FET last Tuesday so currently 6dp5dt. My 'symptoms' are occasionally sore boobs and nausea that comes and goes. These could also be the result of the zillion doses of progesterone I am on (my progesterone is 290, my clinic are not messing about). I guess I could test but am not ready to burst the bubble just yet. How soon did those of you who know the outcome test?

I was a good girl and waited the two weeks - I couldn't bear the thought of an incorrect test after all of the waiting.

Welcome Spartacus! How many blastocyts did you have transferred? I'm due to tranfer tomorrow, I really want them to put two back (we currently have 3 top quality, 3 almost-perfect, and 4 'could go either way') but because I'm only 31 the clinic are being stubborn about a single transfer.

Best of luck to you! When are you going to test? I know a lot of people have got BFP on day 7 or 8, but it doesn't always show up by then.
