WANTED- cycle buddies who are ttc#1 and planning a FET in April/May

I'm in need of some buddies!

A long story short is that I have been ttc#1 for 19 months now. I have severe PCOS and don't ov or cycle naturally.
Last year I was told that DH and I would only have a chance of conceiving through IVF, after numerous other fertility treatments failed.

In February this year we had our first ISCI IVF cycle at Reprofit in the Czech Republic (DH has 2 DDs so we are not eligible for treatment on the NHS) We got 12 eggs, 8 fertilised and 6 made it to blasts! We had one transferred and fell pregnant! But at 4+4 blood tests confirmed that the pregnancy wasn't viable and at 5 weeks we had a very early mc (I hate the phrase CP as I think it trivialises it)

The last few weeks have been such a struggle physically and mentally but we are keen to try again so are planning another trip to Reprofit to be reunited with one of our Frosties!

Scared and excited in equal measures and would love some buddies to share in this new and unknown part of the 'journey' with. X

Oh and rose the harmony results take ages. Up to 10 business days. But I don't actually the test as I've obv already had the PGS testing of the embie so I know it's normal. But you do get to find out the sex if you do it and my doctor said that he would have scanned me anyway at 10w so why not have scan + blood test if I did want to know the sex. Which obviously I do as I am nosey and utterly fed up of waiting for milestones!!

It blows my mind that you can find out the sex this early! (even though I know that embryologists can see the sex of an embryo at transfer- that blows my mind even more!) X

Well I took a FRER this morn and it's about the same as Vixx FRER at 6dp5dt so I'm reassured by this for now I'll try another in 2 days time

Oooh stealth how exciting to be finding out the sex today all being well (or is it in 10 days with the rest of results?). Bet that'll begin to make it seem more real. Huge good luck!

Afm, I got up to sleepily and forgetfully wee at 5am so wasted it! Probably for the best- now on a course all day so will hold on till tomorrow. Argh!

Thanks guys. Will keep you posted. If we were in the U.S. we would have found out as part of the PGS as obv they see it then. It'll be 10 days to find out. Really just hoping to see a healthy baby in there at this stage reaching peak crazy this morning

My scan is on the 15th when I will be about 8 weeks. My boobs have been killing me and woke up this morning and they are back to normal and sickness is gone. When does the worry ever go!

All done. I have one healthy little wriggling baby. Was sitting like a "Buddha - or a frog!" (sonographer's words!) and then started moving around which was amazing. All good in terms of measurements and heartbeat etc. Am so relieved.

vixx I think the worry is neverending. No advice as I am terrible at managing it!

No guesses really on sex. I am wondering if it is a girl just because of the continued high heart rate (measured again at 167bpm) but that has been proven to be horseshit an old wives' tale so really no idea. Statistically it's more likely to be a boy given how boy dominant DHs family is!

Vixx It's so hard not to worry when something changes isn't it? I think symptoms do come and go a little though (from what I've read) although I know this will be little comfort. It really does never end X

Agree with Rose, it feels very different and positive hearing you guys' news and am always so happy to see bfps and scans, whereas I really struggle with the instadiffas. (who can still just sod right off, all a hundred million of them).

Am off to the US now (just on the plane about to take off) so am hoping I'll wake up to some nicely darkening lines for those of you POASing tomorrow morning. (Keep your fingers crossed I don't get dvt - am looking smashing in my very dorky compression socks!)

Poas again- this time it's a definite line! Cautiously pleased. Also extremely petrified.
The top one is Sunday's 4dpt afternoon attempt and bottom one is from this morning.

No other symptoms yet so obv the worry about that is starting early, too!

I'm saving my next FRER for tomorrow but I did another IC this morning and the line on that is darker. And I've compared it to this day in Feb's test pic, and it is a touch darker than that one! So, so far so good, but still a bloody long way to go for me.... OTD is still a bloody week away

Here is today's test. It's darker, I feel slightly reassured but not much....... Never happy, me!

I'm feeling ok- just headaches, really tired and stupidly thirsty and hungry. The dull ache in my abdomen is very very mild now.

How about you? Are you going absolutely stir crazy like me yet? I'm wishing away the days just so that I can pee on another stick- it's madness!

I feel fine, just tired as am sleeping badly due to cold/hay fever mouth-breathing.
I had no symptoms at all last time, which made my consultant do a cat's bum face just before the 9wk scan at which we had bad news, so any lack of is going to worry me. To be fair, ALL of it is going to worry me. May as well get in the zone early.

Grumpel with the exception of the mild ache, I had all of these same "symptoms" last time and it ended very quickly so I don't think symptoms (or lack of them) means anything this early on anyway, to be honest.

OTD countdown is on for you now! Are you having your beta done with the GP or at your clinic? Are you getting your progesterone checked too? Reprofit don't ask for progesterone at OTD which I think is odd.

Morning. Both of your lines have got much darker! Great news.

I know you are both apprehensive because of what has previously happened but the lines are getting darker so for now your pregnancies are progressing as they should be!

You will drive yourself crazy Rose comparing the lines everyday but I definitely understand.

I am still spotting, this has been a few weeks now. I really can't see anything good coming out of this. 1 week until my clinic scan. Have taken the day off as I am really ill. Epic vomiting last night
