Starting first injections of Buserelin, anyone else?

Did my first needle tonight was so nervous was about to inject myself when I dropped the needle, had to get it ready again, then I just paused when I had to inject myself hovering the needle over my stomach, I couldn't mentally do it, it was like being in a dream where you cant run any faster, I held my breath and did it, I didnt feel a thing, not even when I pushed the liquid in. Will keep posting how it all goes, would love to hear from other people..

BANANAFISH I am taking Gonal f 237.50 and will be taking Orgalutran 0.5ml injection from Thursday.

I have only just looked and seen the size of the needle. That is going to hurt me :( little worried now.

Hyland I thought that - nearly shat myself. Then realised I was looking at the mixing needle not the injecting needle, which was waaaaay smaller and less scary looking!

Mine is a pre-filled syringe orgalutran injection. So what I'm looking at is definitely what i stick myself with lol.

Cor your clinic are very precise!! Give em a ring to check

Mine was quite easy multiples: started on 450iu, then dropped down to 225iu, then 150iu

Ended up using EXACTLY the four 900iu pens I'd bought - happy accident :)

Anyone else had weight gain?? I worked REALLY hard to lose 21lb to get my bmi under 30 and ive now put about 5lb back on 😡

Yep me! About 5lb up and can't fit into jeans! Hoping it'll settle down after Ec tomorrow.

Phew, its starting to really get to me lol- i have no motivation whatsoever to follow my diet plan and i feel awful because of it😫

Yep. I had lost a stone and a half before starting and I've totally gone to pot. Figure I'll restart if it's a negative but now is not the time to be too hard on myself (or that's the theory) Grin

lol yep me too i lost just over 2 stone May last year. Since then I have put it all back on and 6Ib.

I have had a fresh cycle that failed and a frozen.

Just about getting motivated to start up again.

Bloating goes away after EC after a while.

First scan simce starting stims, 2 on right 4 on left, more stims til fri then rescan and bloods!

Good news smurfy. I found I felt loads better on stims than dr.
Afm I've had ec today. Got 12 eggs. Now
Fingers crossed they fertilise!

Hi smurfy. ..at your next scan right down the left and right sizes..I always made a copy and your lining thickness..I kept a record of all mine..xx I'd always forget when hubby was asking me...

I dont let my other half in the room whilst im being abused by the dildo scan/equipment.

Feel embarrissed enough as it is lol.

I dont think he would want to be in the room when that type of stuff happens.

I'm spotty this time round ! Not looking forward to the bloating. I suppose when feeling depressed, I will have to just hope it has worked this time.

Thanks hyland. I'm sore this evening. Anyone would think I'd had a massive needle shoved up there Shock

I was spotty on dr but it went after a week of stims. The bloating isn't fun though. Amazingly my tummy is way less bloated now only 11hrs after collection.

I took yesterday off for ec and staying home today. Hopefully et will be Friday or Sunday and I have next week off as annual leave although that's just good luck!

Can I ask why otd varies so much? I had ec yesterday and have been told my otd is 14 days post ec - so 12dp2dt, 11dp3dt or 9dp5dt. This seems pretty short. What's everyone's experience?

I took a week of after frozen transfer last time.

This time i will take a week as holiday and a week down as other i think.

Stressful environment at work for me, so definitely think it is worth it for me.

I was told mine otd is 16 days, but then I realised with it being a 5 day blastocyst it is actually 11 days to wait after.

The trigger injection can cause a false positive if you test to early!
