catnip yes the clinic was fab thanks. A really calm environment and friendly helpful staff so just really hoping that we can use it. We get 1 round on nhs and would use this place if we need to have further rounds later. The doc at the hospital basically said it was our choice out of 4 places to go to, 2 were nhs and 2 were private that we could transfer our nhs funding to. However, the clinic said that although they're very happy to accept it that our CCG are often reluctant to let people transfer to private. She said all the other local CCGs are fine with it but ours is always awkward so we might have a bit of a battle on our hands. Hopefully my gp will make a good case for us.

Oh that's fantastic Bessie I'm so glad. My scan is a week tomorrow, feel like Iv been waiting forever. I'm so looking forward to it.

Hiya everyone! It's been a while since I been on here been waiting for my gp to refer us. After a long two months they finally did it and I received forms to fill in. I've sent them back today am I still so far off?? Can anyone tell me how long the wait is for the next part and what it involves thanks everyone. X

So, a very productive appointment with my consultant today! Main headline is we’re gonna start another stims cycle asap. Weirdly despite my lack of positive OPK and no temp rise I did indeed ovulate - as we could see a corpus luteum on the scan. Given my lining issues and the fact that I had many more antral follicles (and I’d responded well to stims before) he recommended down regulating me so we can get better control of everything. He said something still doesn’t add up, as I had a load more follies on the scan, and that def wasn’t the picture (coupled with the response to the stims) of someone with undetectable AMH and a sky high FSH.

Left toting a bag of syringes and needles with me on the bus, and the buserelin will arrive tomorrow - start down regging tomorrow evening!!

Going back at start of Dec for baseline scan and will have EC hopefully 2nd or 3rd week of December. Will thaw the frozen eggs and batch them together with whatever we get this time. Apparently it’s absolutely fine to freeze embryos created from frozen eggs. And will keep a close eye on the lining and support as needed so we can hopefully do a transfer after EC. Would be so so great to be able to actually make it to transfer and be PUPO for Xmas! Xx

miracles not long til your scan now.... how many weeks will you be?

i have mine on friday and im so scared. had some really shit bad pains and lost all my symptoms.... clinic wont do repeat bloods and wont see me til 6 weeks. they really scared shit outta me. so this week is going to drag!!!

Mine is on tues Bessie. Looking forward to it but apprehensive at the same time. Are you sure pain weren't to do with your bowels. Iv had some sharp pains at times sharp enough to make me sit up to attention but I think they were due to constipation. It's such a scary time isn't it all the waiting and not knowing. All we can do is try to be positive and hope for the best.

Oh and I'll be 7+6 on my scan day

I've been away for a bit as have been a bit down but I'm ok now. We are going to do a fet cycle in jan as we decided we would use our day two embryos just in case
It will be a natural fet cycle again and set so if it doesn't work we will do it again in February

Thank you waiting I totally get you feeling down, it's all such an emotional roller coaster. I think your doing right using your frozen embies. Really hope it sticks in January for you. You deserve some happiness after all you've been through this year x

I had reflexology today which relaxed me a lot. Decided not to continue with acupuncture as it was too expensive and didn't work last time so we decided to just save the money instead!

I'm trying between now and January to be really really healthy and have been doing even more walking and trying to eat really well. Hopefully something will make a difference next time

Thanks. I am so relieved. Couldn't really see a lot on the scan as baby is so small but could see heart beat flashing on the screen.

Friday will soon be here Bessie. I wouldn't worry to much about pains, Iv had on and off pains/niggling feelings. It may possibly by your uterus stretching/getting bigger.

Oh and waiting I only had acupuncture on transfer day. Might be worth just doing that.

Ladies who've been on long protocol - did you have (m)any any side effects whilst down regging? I was on short protocol last time - quite apprehensive I'll end up over suppressed and won't respond to stims. But will just have to see.

Started buserelin on Fri - hoping my lining will play ball and we'll actually be able to transfer this cycle. Can't quite believe we were able to go again so soon - my egg collection for round 1 was only on 5th October! But glad we're able to try and take advantage of my ovaries being still slightly stimulated, my AFC is significantly higher than it was, so fingers crossed that'll help this time around...

Thank you banana it was lovely to see. I didn't really get any side affects from meds other than bloating from what I can remember. Just remember to drink plenty of water and eat lots of protein if you can. I really believe that's helps. I ate lots of salmon, eggs, seed bars and nuts and drank lots of whole milk.
