Update from me: I'm on clomid cycle 2, 50ng day 2-6. Currently day 18. Last month my day 21 bloods were 39.1 which was up from 21 without clomid....

Feeling quite positive, but think that is only as I am mid cycle!!

Good luck on this cycle Mazzie and Sammy. Bouncing, hope you get you bfp this month. I have everything crossed for you all.

I'm gutted. Went for my CD11 scan and I have no follicles this month. I'm so sad and disappointed as it's cycle 5. Have decided to take a break from ttc in August and the clinic has agreed to up me to 150mg from 100mg in September and October. I also have an appointment with the gynae on October 15 to discuss options if those two cycles don't work. Either iui or get on the waiting list for ivf. I'm scared, and very upset. Sitting at work trying not to cry at the moment. I dunno.

Anyway, hope you're all well and chins are all up. We'll all get there in the end.

Hi Feather. Don't worry love, in God willing, you will get your bfp soon. You hear of so many ppl getting their bfp's on later cycles of Clomid. You have to stay positive hun. Sending you a big feel better (hug). And praying we all get our bfp's soon. Xx

Sounds like everyone's having a bad day, af got me today too three days early! I'm not supposed to take clomid this month as I had to have a biopsy after an abnormal smear so supposed to wait for the results of that but I'm in two minds.

Here's hoping that we all get our bfps soon x

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining this thread. I've just started taking Clomid and on cd10, I had to take 50mg from day 2-6 after Provera induced a bleed. I have not bled naturally since last August. I have been diagnosed PCOS and my cycle can literally be non-existent. I did a opk this morning and I got the flashing smiley face which indicated high fertility, I did it 12 hours later and again the smiley face. However, I just did it before I went to bed (probably a bit obsessive!) and it was negative. I'm a tad confused as (a) I thought cd 10 was quite early for an LH surge and (b) how can it be over that quickly without a peak result? Any advice? Could it be my wee was too diluted as it was not after a sleep?

Lotty, I think that if you have the clear blue digitals once you get the smiley face you shouldn't do it again as it has a memory and it is actually measuring any increase in your lh levels, so after the initial surge it won't show smiley again. Though day ten does seem early.. How are they monitoring you?

Feather, I went to specialist on Saturday and he referred me for ivf, after only 3 months on clomid. I was really surprised. He said I was unexplained infertility so go straight to ivf. In some ways I'm pleased, but some ways I kind of just want this to happen without getting to that point... And I only get one go on nhs through my primary care trust.... Ugh!!

Mazzie, what month are you on now, are they suggesting any alternatives?

How are all the bfp coming along?

I am on day 14, and on holiday next week for two weeks so doctor gave me more clomid to tide me over till my referral comes through, he seemed to think it would be pretty quick though, so fingers crossed!

Hi ladies. Hope you're all well. It's quite strange how it seems like we all got af at the same time lol! Mine has been awful this time and I've had time off work cuz I can't control the flow! I started my 3rd cycle today and have been a bit naughty and increased my dose by 25mg! So I'll be taking 75mg instead of 50 this month as it could be my last chance. Has anyone else done this before? Good luck to everyone x

Hi Pipdini, thanks and best of luck with your ivf referral, it sounds positive that your Dr is so proactive. I'm not really being monitored at the moment, my fertility nurse said that I would not release lots of eggs on 50mg (so no real risk of triplets or quads) and they want to wait and see if my cycle picks up naturally after the first dose as I have not bleed naturally since last August. Then next month they will do my bloods. Thus this month I kinda feel it's the great unknown and the treatment I'm having seems different to what I have read of some others

Hi all, I'm totally confused! I had spotting sat-mon and really though this cycle had failed. But then it stopped so last night got a pregnancy test (boots own make) and got a very faint positive. Repeated it this morning and got the same. Got a digital one at lunchtime and it came up as 'pregnant' right away. But when I had a test in the dr,s this afternoon, it was negative!!!! I can't cope with this tension!!!,

Bouncing how exciting! Strange about the neg one at the drs but it does sound like good news what did the dr say?

Dr was horrible but the digital test I did first thing this morning definitely says positive!!!

Bouncing, i had the same and my doc was like that, treated me like I was lying! I went out and asked for a new appointment with a diff doc and told them he was being an ass and they got me in the same afternoon with a dif doc and she said that coz I have a positive at home they didnt need to retest and got me booked in for an early scan! I'd ask to be seen by some1 else if you can :-) and congratulations :-)

I needed to go AWOL for a bit as last week rocked me after the whole 'Clomid round 5 no follicles' thing. I'm going away for three weeks in a few days time and I'm looking forward to not obsessing over ttc. I'm exhausted, drained, sad and in need of a break from the pills and my own head. When I stared clomid in Feb, I just assumed it would work and that I'd be pregnant by now. It's taken me a while to come round to the idea that my path probably won't be that simple. So, I'm having August off clomid and then two more months of it at 150mg. Then, I'll look into other options such as iui or the dreaded (in my head, anyway) IVF.

I do think that this struggle will make us all better parents, you know? I'd imagine when you've wanted something so much for so long, you appreciate it much more than if it were handed to you straight away. Doesn't make it easier but it's a thought.

I'm abit gutted but believe everything happens for a reason, it wa meant to be, just gotta wait n see. I really need to get to town today n get some opk's. Praying for us all ladies. Lots of baby dust!!. Xx.

Hi ladies. How'z everyone?. It's quiet here.... I'm on CD14. I've had + opk's from cd12 and also this morning :). This is my 4th round of Clomid and second round of 100mg but as I said I only took 3 days. I forgot to take the others as I was fasting for Ramadan and was taking the pills at 3am and didn't manage to wake up lol. I'm praying we all have the best news this cycle :). Sending lots of baby dust our way :). X

Hi I'm cd13 still waiting for +ve opk but haven't taken clomid this month as I need to wait for my biopsy results. Good news though is dh sa came back normal so that's one less thing to worry about. Hopefully my biopsy results will come through shortly so I can start round 5 next month! Good luck for 2ww mazzie :)

Hi ladies hope everyone is ok. Im finding things difficult this month and starting to feel negative about clomid working for me. I have also been told by employer that I cant work whilst im taking the clomid as I am a danger to others! So im now stressed with having no income whislt im ovulating . It would be nice to have some positives this month! I go back to gynae on the 22nd so this could be my last cycle before looking into ivf. Baby dust to all x

Sammy your employer is talking aload of crap about it being a danger to others! If I was you I'd talk to HR or got to citizens advice as they can't stop you from working just because you are ovulating. That would be like telling all other women not to come in when they are ovulating.

Well my employer apparently does have the right according to my gp as I have been very stroppy at work and sometimes go dizzy and therefore I cant do my job of looking after people properly. They have signed me off for 2weeks and im back at gynae in the meantime. Talk about kicking people when theyre down! Oh well these things r sent to try us x

Hows everyone doing? Im on cd22 and defo know af is coming the same as every month with the achy boobs, spots and cramps. Got gynae on thursday so ill know my options then regarding ivf. Hope everyone is well x

Hi ladies. Hope everyone's ok :). Sammy.... Your only on CD22, & your not out till af arrives. I'm on cd23. I'm around 9dpo. The only difference this month to any other month is that my boobs are abit sore, they arn't normally sore at this time in my cycle, & for the last 3 days I've been feeling sick in the evenings, but as we know, the Clomid can do that, so we'll just wait n see :). I was thinking of doing a frer in a few days but then I change my mind lol. I keep saying to myself. I do it every month & all that money just to get a bfn, no I'll just wait lol. X

Mazzie I know what u mean with trying not to test and things lol.... we just cant help it. Im not testing this month and im sticking to it. Clomid has altered my cycle length aswel so im not 28 days no more.... last month I was 3 days early. Its all confusing. What r u on now? X
