There will be reasons as to why it is so high profile in terms of police coverage. If the police felt it was counter productive they would put a stop to it. They have the power to do so. They must feel that the TVs being there is beneficial to the situation.

I heard something on the radio about his mother speaking out and disowning him.

Another 2 men ahve been arrested. Makes you wonder if someone is hiding him after all.

The police have probably used those decoy tactics before

The two men arrested have been named on the BBC website:

"They have been named as Karl Ness, 26, from Dudley, North Tyneside, and Qhuram Awan, 23, from Blyth, Northumberland."

Well, I guess we'll wait and see. I just don't see how all the media circus/police colluding with it is necessary ....but I'm willing to be proven wrong

There are a further two men 'from the rothbury area' who are in custody/or being questioned - have they been named.

You two (dizzy and moss) must have gone to school with my dp, my ex-h and loads of our friends! Dp was 34 in April and went to KEVI but not Thomlinsons. Fairly sure ex-h was at Thomlinsons.

when I was at uni I had a friend who was very disparaging about her boyfriend who always had to do that "oh, do you know so and so" thing which apparently all we northeasterners do. Maybe she was right.

No brothers and sisters. I lived on the 'posh' hillside lol . Wasnt that bothered with anyone in Rothbury, had a good mate in Thropton but most of my mates were in Morpeth and at KEVI, I only did Thomlinsons in last year of middle school but went to KEVI until leaving in 1991
