fox attacks twins

Is Max Clifford behind this?

OP posts:
Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 14:49

Yeah Claig, the world is run by climate scientists and not industrialists, Gazprom, BP, Glaxo and Saudi Aramco are in league with the foxes!! You nutter!! :D

claig · 01/07/2010 14:54

Coolfonz, what kind of anarchist are you? You didn't believe Blair and Brown over Iraq and WMD, but you think they are telling the truth about climate change? When all of the great and the good are singing from the same hymn sheet, don't you think that there may be something rotten in the state of Denmark? Do you think that the "cabs for hire" would go against BP, Glaxo etc.? How long do you think their million dollar talking engagements would last if they did that? Do you really think they are doing it for the good of the planet or for their bosses?

SomeGuy · 01/07/2010 14:56

I am afraid that the increasing freak events (floods, hurricanes) and changes in weather patterns (droughts) are proof that we have angered Odin by not offering sufficient sacrifices to him.

What's that? I've failed to provide proof of the former, and evidence of correlation to the latter? But that doesn't matter! Faith doesn't require evidence, everyone knows that.

Anyway, fuck the foxes. Rights are purely a human concept, and the idea that we should apply them to foxes is absurd and self-hating. We are so successful as a species because we are able to dominate and control other species, to say that we should give this ability up because the cute little foxy-woxies were here first is ridiculous - certainly not an attitude that the fox would extend to its prey. Sure we can choose to tolerate foxes, but we have no obligations whatsoever towards them (not sure about foxes, but there are now more deer here in Surrey than ever before in history, due to a proliferation of 'the animals are more important than the humans' nutters).

claig · 01/07/2010 14:59

when they drop depleted uranium, do you think they care about the environment?

OrmRenewed · 01/07/2010 15:00

Who? The foxes? Or the Moomins?

SomeGuy · 01/07/2010 15:04

???? Saudi Aramco are supposed to have what to do with vermin control in inner London?

Nutter is right.

There are very many well-funded interest groups ensuring that you can't build a few hundred yards of road without spending millions of pounds saving the badgers/rare snails/orchids.

But obviously it's all a conspiracy by GlaxoSmithKline to er, um....

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 15:11

Blair and Brown environmentalists? You freak. They are post-fascist right wingers like you and Someguy. 5th runway anyone?

No I mean the decades of painstakingly detailed evidence on climate and human effect by tens of thousands of scientists from every country in the world.

You know, the shit you are too fucking stupid to read.

SomeGuy · 01/07/2010 15:14

'post-fascist right wingers'?

Did you get that out of your Morning Star?

claig · 01/07/2010 15:19

can you try and debate without swearing or do you think that bullying will intimidate people?

It was Blair and Brown who were the gladiators for Kyoto, with John Prescott as Sir Galahad. They are right behind, Brown said "we have 50 days to save the planet". If they are not environmentalists and are post-fascist right wingers why are they spearheading international conferences to save the planet?

claig · 01/07/2010 15:26

by the way you're right about the 5th runway. None of them believe a single word about the environment or global warming, but they all preach about it at international conferences and tell us the changes we will have to make? Why do you think that is?

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 15:37

Politicians say one thing and do another all the time. Blair and Brown don't care about climate change. Just lip service, like Blair ending poverty in Africa. He's fash like you, one of you lot.

Bought him some time before he could get £1mn a year off JP Morgan.

Anyway mate, it's too late now, what's coming is coming, can't do shit about it. Climate will change, maybe it will be a bit bad or a fucking massive disaster, you don't give a shit do you?

But I like popping onto Mumsnet and swearing at right wing freaks, breaks up the day. After all, like I say, decades of evidence by all sorts of scientists from all over the world doesn't convince you. Coz u iz fikk an selfish init. So why should I bother?

But you've seen through it. It's all a conspiracy by Johnathan Porrit and that dweeb Tory kid Goldsmith to like...er...tax motorists or something. All us commies are in on it. We have secret codes and stuff.

You thickos.

claig · 01/07/2010 15:46

you need to try and improve your debating skills and the quality of your thought. I know exactly why they are doing it, but you think you know everything and I am just a fash, so it would be wasted on you trying to explain it. It's a complete lie so don't worry about it, don't get into your canoe or your bunker, nothing will happen. There are several reasons why the great and the good persist in lying about it. Since you pretend that you are a caring commie who cares for the workers, I will give you one clue about how it is intended to harm people across the globe for the benefit of the fash. Who does Gordon say are the biggest problem countries in terms of future emissions and what does he say they have to do about it? Why do you think they target these countries and why do you think that these countries know the score and refuse to be bullied by your leftist chums who try to con them by telling them that they only "have 50 days left to save the planet".

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 15:53

What are you on about Tinfoil?

claig · 01/07/2010 15:57

haha ok it's above your head. Keep looking at your Che Guevara posters and reading your anarchist cookbooks, at least it will boost your ego and make you think you are superior to all the rest of the fash.

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 16:00

The foxes have hacked your computer Mr Icke.

claig · 01/07/2010 16:01

wasn't Icke one of your greens who wanted to save the planet?

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 16:08

Psst, 9-11 was an inside job as well, aliens. Really naughty ones, in league with the Moomins. Don't tell Gordon Brown.

claig · 01/07/2010 16:15

No it's best if you inform him, you're with him on climate change, you're on the same wavelength as the Great Leader

Coolfonz · 01/07/2010 16:34

Ok!

Chil1234 · 01/07/2010 18:00

To respond to the OP.... 'why is it such a story?' I think the ridiculous people who set up nasty facebook pages and sent threatening letters to the family actually made it much bigger story than it started out as.

Ryoko · 01/07/2010 20:51

Reply to the OP.

I think it's a slow news day and anything the BBC can do to save money they will.

whomovedmychocolate · 01/07/2010 21:01

I was growled at by a badger in my back garden half an hour ago, will Max Clifford come and make me a cuppa to help my recovery from this experience?

I don't live in an urban environment, but a rural one, lots more animals, lots less problems because they have their place and we have ours, badgers excepted - they are just meanies - and ne'er the twain etc.

Perhaps the problem is that we want it all ways, we want to be able to leave our doors open - and get neither burgled nor visited by the wildlife. Sort of unreasonable really - at no time in history would we be that bloody stupid and not expect, now and then, for there to be casualties. Anyway I thought all parents locked their doors less the many millions of paedos slipped through the door?

Sassybeast · 01/07/2010 21:18

Also to respond to the OP cos the rest of you are slightly scary - I think the family probably want to stick 2 fingers up to the conspiracy theorists who hoisted their bosoms and muttered darkly about things 'not adding up' and 'something being not quite right' when the story broke. I seem to recall such a thread on this very forum. Wouldn't it be nice to see some of the harridans apologise for their innacurate and shitty speculation?

"... as a result of the publicity the animal rights maniacs have kicked up..."

My point precisely... Animal rights activitists could probably use the services of Max Clifford themselves. Their track record of alienating the public from their cause with their tactics of bullying and intimidation is astonishing. They're also incredibly inconsistent about which animals they defend. Up in arms about 'innocent foxes' and yet if those babies had been attacked by a big rat I think the silence from the same people would have been deafening.
