dp, don't act stupid - nobody has asked you to write a 1000 page thesis. You've been asked a simple question - to explain why you support a hate-filled party of racism, homophobia and misogyny. And you have been unable to answer it. By doing so you're backing up my statement beautifully, that BNP supporters have not put a modicum of thought into what they believe.
As for NG being intelligent...well there's a vast sea of difference between not being stupid and being intelligent. In any case, if you read my post properly you'll see that I said very specifically that by failing to think properly about what they say/ believe, BNP members give the impression that they are stupid. Like a Marilyn Monroe dumb blonde act (she was actually very savvy). However, I wouldn't go so far as to say that they're intelligent; I've read at least one of the BNP's policy documents and have looked through the website. If I took my red marker pen through the it you'd be shocked by the number of grammatical corrections (ha! how ironic - they can't write properly in ENGLISH!), let alone the fact that what they state about life/ propose to do makes absolutely no logical, intellectual, legal or practical sense.
And please, don't play the victim card here, by doing so you make yourself look pathetic. You claim that you are constantly attacked for your views on MN. Are you really surprised? FGS, every time there's a thread about anything to do with race or the BNP, give it a little while and Oh! here's dp, wading in with her 'hi, I'm your local BNP activist' crap. What on earth do you expect to get when you behave that way? A Nobel Peace Prize? Do you honestly think people will let you get away with saying you support such a vicious party without a challenge?
As noddy says (noddy - so sorry for your health situation, I hope things are better...?), the world is a HUGE place. HUGE. It's bloody enormous. There is SO much variety and beauty and vigour and hilarity and creativity and extraordinarily bizarre, crazy and fantastic stuff going on in our world EVERY SINGLE DAY. Why on earth would you want to shut that out of your mind? Why? Because you're scared. How very sad. I feel extremely sorry for you, dp. At least your parents were brave enough to leave their homeland and explore a different part of the world. You appear to have built yourself a cage to be 'happy' in.
