It takes about 2 nanoseconds of thought to realise that all these pro-BNP arguments are hate-filled, reactionary hot air, and that very little brain activity goes into coming up with/ supporting them. That is not to say that people who support the BNP do not have opinions and concerns worth considering - everyone's opinion is worth considering, even (or especially?) those people who you loathe the most. But when those people clearly haven't bothered to think through their own points of view...well, they're really not helping themselves, and no wonder everyone else says that BNP supporters are so utterly stupid.

DP why don't you have to justify your opinions? We all have to justify our opinions especially when talking about lending support to a political party.

The difference between us Kaloki is I wouldn't ask you to back up your decisions with a 1000 page thesis.....if you told me..(a random stranger on the internet)..that you were going to vote BNP because you agreed with alot of their policies, I would just think "fine...if they rock your world go with them"...I wouldn't ask you for anymore details.....because basically, I wouldn't give a toss.....

I think if you say you are an activist for a particular party then you should expect questions.. most people can't be arsed to vote, so to be as full on as being an activist, well, people will be interested

You know I spent days on a BNP thread a few months ago, I answered so many questions I was physically and mentally exhausted at the end of it....I don't really know people want from me. It gets very exhausting when I keep getting called "vile, bigot, troll"...you name it really. y'know people want me banned because I don't think homosexuality is natural...can you believe that..? and the troll shouts, and "ban her" come from people I thought had more sense.....

It will never change, democracy on here is fine as long as you think like everyone else....which is crazy isn't it...

that's nice of you to say DP. I want to say the same, but I can't. I am Jewish and my ancestry is eastern european, my grandparents were the first generation of my family to be born in the UK. I don't see how you can like me and be a part of the BNP, to break things down to brass tacks.
i really applaud that you hold these strong views that are wholly unpalatable, but you have the balls to say them, but it is a frightening ideology to embrace.

it is a party of hatred and violence. they do lie, same as other politicians.. see the youtube videos taken undervocer at BNP rallies etc.. the public face of teh BNP covers a lot of violent thugs.

some of whom would think nothing of beating up me or my children or my african friends, or my gay friends, simply for being different.

i think as we come out of the recession, teh BNP will lose power and support. every time there is a depression / recession/ time of great instability, the far right gains power , and blames immigrants and the ethnic minorities

listen to me...I know all about the BNPs past (NF and all that)....but they are changing, and surely it's better to have a far-right party in the limelight as it were, people are now able to see what they're doing, they are under alot more scrutiny ....that has to be a positive move...I think so anyway.

It's no secret that the BNP are anti-muslim, but so are alot of ethnic minorities in the UK...you can't blame the BNP for everything.
Yes they are anti-gay, but so are (most)catholics and muslims, and other religious people...
The BNP have only gained support because of the Labour governments total betrayal of the ordinary man in the street....alot of people's views on the Labour party are.."they're ok if you're homosexual, an immigrant, or want a life on benefits...that's the perception anyway...which I think is about right.

The BNP are not going to kill anyone, NG is not Hitler....they'll be lucky if they get 1 MP in the next election....but I think it's important that they are around....keeps the other parties on their toes...

DP have you ever thought people might be a bit more accepting of you if you are a bit more accepting of them? You aren't a victim by any stretch of the imagination, whereas the party you support does genuinely want to turn a large chunk of the population into victims.
