2 explosions in underground and 3 buses too .reports now saying no power surges.police are saying too early to give reason.its obvious tho.

my cousin and his wife use the tubes daily ,hoping them and all in london with loved ones are ok.

DH is in Canary Wharf these days, thank goodness. So far, no sign of anything there, and the security there is pretty good.

the bus explosions sound like terorist attacks to me, they just inteviewed a woman on sky news and she saw the bus explode, and said that the top of the bus at the back fly of. OMG How scary it must be for them all!

Just spoken to my sis (off-duty but works for the BBC). BBC news policy is not to load unsubstantiated reports on the website which could explain why they are sticking to the power-outage theory for now.

City is weird. No panic sure but very edgy here.

Not helped here by colleague NOT at work and no signal on mobile. He comes in via Aldgate and Liverpool Street. We're always teasing him about his lie-ins (needs two alarm clocks and his wife is away on a trip) if he had got himself out of bed properly he'd have been HERE when the chaos started

it all sounds like terrorist attacks because of them all being co ordinated in timing

DS2 was on a coach heading for the Tate Modern with the school this morning. I've just been contacted to say that they have turned round and are heading back to school. Very relieved.

NQC, this seems here is the best place to be for updated news! Better and faster than BBC or Sky.
Just heard via my parents that my brother is in London but OK.
