I really don't understand that - please explain how the odd one off is exactly the same risk as a weekly column that will definitely be quoting an MN thread?

There were risks both times but they are not the same - surely that's obvious?

I work in a place where copyright and rights are HUGELY important. Get it wrong and you can be in serious trouble in all kinds of ways - financial sometimes being the least you have to worry about.

As a business I recon Mumsnet need to get this particular legal confusion tightened up. It is only the internet and mumsnet is only a brand but the legal crapola they could find themselves in is huge.

well why dont mumsnet just hold their hand up and say eah actually our priorities and plan for mumsnet has changed then rather than pretending that the reasons for setting it uppp in the first place and their view of it now are different
