I think it is a rather nice send off,
Fitting.
Nice to hear others sing his songs

interesting, bdd would make sense. if that was the case you'd think he'd have said, rather than just blaming the vitiligo. maybe not, though.

daftpunk · 08/07/2009 22:11

daftpunk · 08/07/2009 22:12

daftpunk · 08/07/2009 22:34

(who by?)

AitchTwoOh · 08/07/2009 23:05

there is NO WAY you've just read all those pieces, dp. lol. nice try, though.

daftpunk · 08/07/2009 23:10

how much was there?...i read one page.

AitchTwoOh · 08/07/2009 23:34

five articles linked to below that page. some as long as twelve pages long... very in-depth reporting, and in an american mag so fact-checked to within an inch of its life.

bobbysmum07 · 08/07/2009 23:35

Since we're taking a magazine article as gospel truth and proof of guilt, here's another one to ponder:

www.allmichaeljackson.com/wasmichaeljacksonframed7.html

Note: several of the names mentioned in this article appeared as prosecution witnesses in the 2005 trial and were destroyed by the defence. A couple admitted to lying on the witness stand.

bobbysmum07 · 08/07/2009 23:37

" ... in an american mag so fact-checked to within an inch of its life ..."

Now you just sound silly.

lol aitch...you're so hard...

will pretend to read the rest tomorrow [luckyme]

TDiddy · 09/07/2009 00:23

Dittany- if Jackson sued everyone that said things about him he would:
1)spend lots and lots on court cases
2)would raise the profile of those damaging stories

I fear that you are relying on heresay and tabloid gossip. When it came to the fact in court he was non gulity!! Night night.

and yet he was still found not guilty! So therefore, in a court of law he wasn't guilty. He could just as easily have been the victim of people who would stop an nothing to get money out of him and infact he possibly was.

beanieb · 09/07/2009 00:42

dittany - that tiny boy that you linked to in a picture with Brooke Sheilds and michael Jackson is Emmanuel Lewis.

"Former Webster star Emmanuel Lewis, who befriended singer Michael Jackson in the 1980s, has been profoundly impacted by the singer's death on Thursday afternoon.

Attempts to reach Lewis through his agent, Mike Esterman, have been relayed to Emmanuel. When we contacted Esterman today for follow-up, he noted that he had received a text message from Emmanuel stating that Jackson's death is ?very personal and very emotional? to him and he is "sincerely devastated at this time.""

TDiddy · 09/07/2009 06:15

Dittany- Vanity Fair is not outside the bounds of tabloid journalism.

As to who I am, I have conceded my "Tough" prefix. I think that you are the real Toughie, not me .

Chris Hitchins writes for VF. As much as I admire him, he is a polemicist. There is nothing unbiased about what he writes.

spokette · 09/07/2009 09:17

Anybody who trusts the word and sincerity of a journalist is seriously deluded. Journalists write articles to sell magazines. Orth is a hack. She is actually being right now for her demeaning, malicious, bilious rant against Jackson on NBC news on the day of his funeral. When her husband died, the media treated him with dignity and respect. The least she could have done was afford the Jackson family the same courtesy. The fact that she did not shows her to be unprinicipled, unprofessional and without grace.

monkeytrousers · 09/07/2009 09:17

that makes it sounds like there's nothing to admire about polemicists. That isn't waht I mean.

spokette · 09/07/2009 09:18
