Weeelllll, it wouldn't really benefit Chantelle or Maisie if the parents were prosecuted. So a bit pointless, really, though I understand (and share) the sentiment.)

It would send a message actually that their behaviour is not acceptable and it would benefit chantelle and maisy because if you have a conviction for child abuse or neglete I'd imagine SS would have a damn good case to remove the two children C & M.
I'm not one for the state interventing but my god what more have these parents got to do.

But the "care" system in this country is anything but. I suspect they're better off with the parents.

i dont know what the answer is but it seems to me that they have done a pretty terrible job of bringing up their daughter are they going to do a better job with the baby?

appalling that 2 adolescents were shamelessly touted around media for money by the adults who should have loved and protected them not hawked them about like a ghoulish story.

I would say that both Chantelle and Alfie have been thoroughly abused by their parents, paraded in front of the tabloids and publicly humiliated, exposed to all sorts of nasty condemnation from morons (calling her a slag and him a freak etc). I would also consider that, in this case, Max Clifford is guilty of child abuse by exploiting these children: all three of them.
