Best of luck and wishes TheMadHouse. My aunt recently underwent the same operation, so I know how hard it must be for you. I had a scare as, well towards the end of last year, but luckily in the end it was negative. I do wish you all the best.

I know people have their own sense of humour and each to their own, but I don't think this was the right place. This thread was started due to the passing of Wendy, who was loved and admired by many and that was the path the thread should have maintained. She was one of the great actresses that lasted the test of time. I thought she had beaten the cancer and am sad to know that in the end it came back.

My heart goes out to her family and the people that loved and cared for her!!!

Are we mourning her though - surely mourning is attending a funeral and being grief stricken. We are just expressing sadness at the loss of life of a person who has become part of our life by being a famous actress. That has always happened hasnt it? What kind of society reacts to a death by saying 'who gives a shit'?
personally I was sorry to hear the news and felt for her family and friends.. just I am sorry and feel for the family and friends of the people on this thread who are suffering similarly - I dont know them either...
