Another sad loss.

OP posts:
TinaTuna · 26/02/2009 14:08

Well, either way really.
I bear the capitalist pig royalty sycophants Duke of E no ill will.

MaryAnnSingleton · 26/02/2009 14:08

same here Charlee

Sonnet · 26/02/2009 14:08

and at tinatuna

How sad for wendy's family. May she rest in peace.

SobranieCocktail · 26/02/2009 14:09

I think Elton, David and Tina might be "related" don't you?

I also think that Tina is trying very hard to imitate somebody.

Furthermore I think that the person she's trying to imitate is not a callous cow.

I've been doing a lot of thinking

EltonJim · 26/02/2009 14:09

i say it's for those you think might die, don't want to be accused of foul play

Sonnet · 26/02/2009 14:10

FGS Davidsussex
have you no empathy?

MaryAnnSingleton · 26/02/2009 14:10

no,we don't have a personal connection to her, nor do we think her family will be trawling mumsnet for sympathy -we are just expressing sadness at someone's untimely death from a horrible disease

TinaTuna · 26/02/2009 14:10

Oh it is sad yes. But hey ho people die.

donnie · 26/02/2009 14:11

yes Sobranie, bit of a conspiracy here methinks.

Didn't she get married recently to her long-term partner?

CharleeInChains · 26/02/2009 14:14

Nope sorry can't ignore anymore, even though you are both obviously trolls with no life.

So it's ok to make fun and have a laugh predicitng peoples death just becuase we have no Real Life connection is it?
Have you all added jade Goody to your sick game?
You seriously are lower than low to play a game that predicts when people will die, is it just celebs or do you include elderly family members in this sick ritual?

FFS you should be ashamed of yourself i am disgusted......

Do say hello to the Goats for me next time you see them..........

Sonnet · 26/02/2009 14:15

Ladies - Tinatuna is bored this afternoon and just wants to cause a reaction - either that or she should just grow up

let's ignore them,shall we ?

CharleeInChains · 26/02/2009 14:17

Yes i feel better now i have said my piece, i shall now ignore.

Nabster · 26/02/2009 14:22

I have reported her posts.

Completely unbelievable that someone can joke about death like this and it is totally irrelavant that her family won't be on here. People who have lost loved ones are on here and threads like this will come up when google is used.

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 26/02/2009 14:22

i dunno, i think that expressing sadness over someone you've never met and notexpressing it are two sides ofsamecoin. and while i've never participated in anoffice death list, i don't think they're uncommon.

poor old wend, though.

AitchTwoOh · 26/02/2009 14:23

oh, and i have lost two loved ones from cancer so am competent to comment.

Elliegant · 26/02/2009 14:30

Charlie you are right I to am disgusted by the comments on this thread.

My sister has been battling cancer for 4 years and was told a few months ago that it is terminal ( she is only 40!), and my mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 weeks ago, it is a terrible, cruel disease that should not be trivialised.

sorry, needed to get that off my chest.

My heart goes out to Wendy's family.

AitchTwoOh · 26/02/2009 14:33

it's really not cancer beingtrivialised, its celeb culture. sheesh, if this was wr's family i'd understand it.

SobranieCocktail · 26/02/2009 14:36

Oh come on Aitch, you don't have to be a grief-junkie to acknowledge that TinaTuna et al are being deliberately provocative, and that "death lists" are pretty fucking tasteless.

Threadworm · 26/02/2009 14:37

My mum died of cancer at the same age as WR, and WR's death makes me think of my mum's. But stand-up comics have done routines along the lines of Tuna's list; I don't think it is particularly shocking. Possibly a bit naff but not outrageous.

ahappymummy · 26/02/2009 14:37

tina..u insensitive horrible person.cancer is awful, and death is awful a horrible thing for anyone to deal with.
seriously,go crawl under a rock, because you really ARE NOT funny.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 26/02/2009 14:38

I am going to the funeral of someone tomorrow who died of breast cancer. I don't feel mortally offended by the comments, tbh, but think they were a bit inappropriate for this thread really.
