all the party leaders were just expressing their condolances at 12, and they have suspended prime ministers questions for the day as a mark of respect, so very sad, Gordon Brown will be feeling it too after losing Jennifer at such a young age

speaking as a mother who has lost a child, I really really feel for them.

I hope the media allow them some privacy

and i thought gordon browns speech was particularly poignant - do not underestimate how hard it must have been for him to stand up in such a public way and speak about the death of a child - the Browns must be reliving their loss too, as will be every parent who has lost a child.
