possibly CoteDAzur....it could also mean they think they know best when they clearly don't.

CoteDAzur · 09/02/2009 19:19

"when they clearly don't"

I don't know about that. And neither do you.

Peachy · 09/02/2009 19:21

I think its established there is more recognised ASD these days and a lot of debate as to why that is exactly. or even if it's an actual rise at all.

PMSL Cote (they were really vry nice ones though- don't buy cheap. Dad works in a sausage family. I really can claim to know that LOL )

CoteDAzur · 09/02/2009 19:24

Peachy - It's one of the quirks of growing up in a Muslim country (i.e. haven't seen a pork sausage until my 20s) - I find they stink. Heavily. And they are filled with God knows what. Disgusting.

Just want to say that Simon Murch is the best doctor I have ever come into contact with with ds. He listened to my concerns (nothing to do with autism btw) and took me seriously and really really helped ds in a way that no other doctor did. He was one of those rare doctors that went the extra mile and seemed to genuinely care. For what it's worth when I was concerned he said ds should definately have the mmr as there were now children dying from measles. This was despite ds having bowel problems already. I am so so sad that he is now facing all these charges and horrible media speculation and I was honestly really upset when he left our hospital. I don't know what happened but I am certain he wouldn't have made anything up. I think it's more likely he listened to concerned parents, took them seriously and decided to do some research. The research findings were not dramatic and were blown up out of all proportion. He never ever said that children should not have the mmr.
