A few years ago I finally managed to persuade my parents that reading the Daily Mail might them into the kind of people they don't want to be.

Oh, genuinely sorry -- just re-read the OP about no anti-Daily Mail comments. No offence meant.

Well it seems there are a disproportionate number of Guardian readers on this site. In fact the Guardian's whole readership is on this site.

I think everyone has a responsibility to swap paper from time to time as it is scary how much loyal readership of a particular paper can inform your thinking. I have been known to buy the Guardian from time to time. Perhaps you heard me shouting?

You are right, Swedes. We should all be prepared to walk a mile in one another's prejudices.

I read the Telegraph just because its easy to read and I like its foreign news. Don't agree with every word of its editorial (and that means YOU Simon Heffer).

I've never been able to get my head around the Guardian's written "style"
