Please answer the following questions - please post once only. And do not comment so as to deter Daily Mail readers.

  1. Which paper do you mostly read Mon-Fri?

  2. Which Sunday paper do you read mostly?

Please answer with one paper. No pretending - if you feel you should answer Guardian and Observer but in reality read the Daily Mail and News of the World, please namechange and answer truthfully.

OP posts:

  1. Guardian - usually on line. Also read Huffington Post online most days [ponce] sometimes The Times.
  2. The Observer
ahundredtimes · 01/02/2009 17:31

Though I suppose Huffington Post is officially a blog, though Guardian on-line increasingly reads like a blog. All that opinion.

catMandu · 01/02/2009 17:36
  1. - no paper, but radio 4 all day long.
  2. - Weekends Guardian/Observer
MrsArchieTheInventor · 01/02/2009 17:39
  1. Occasionally the Times during the week and on Saturdays

  2. I don't read the Sunday papers

Wonderstuff · 01/02/2009 17:40

Generally when I do have time to read the paper I go for the Indy, but normally I go for the BBC news website and watch More4 or Channel 4 news.
That said I did pick up the Torygraph to read on the train last week (had an article by Boris and I love him) and I did rather enjoy it, it had good sudoku might get it again, for balance you understand..

Cammelia · 01/02/2009 17:42
  1. Telegraph
  2. Sunday Times if I buy a paper at all on a Sunday. Prefer the Saturday Telegraph
IdrisTheDragon · 01/02/2009 17:44
  1. None, but DH quite often gets the Guardian and I will leaf through it a bit generally the next day

  2. Don't get Sunday paper

We do get the Guardian and the Telegraph on Saturdays. Not sure where that puts me on the political spectrum

AuraofDora · 01/02/2009 17:54

agree it's quite sad about the Guardian, it used to be a top paper for international news, gave up reading it (and others) quite a while ago, seem to remember they were all a bit more quality back then though
the torygraph is shit and always has been imho

read pil sunday times when visiting, it's s'ok in parts waste of paper in others..

can i ask - does no one get really arsey about the metro?
i hate all the trash they create, i mean, feck its just the evening bastard standard, free..and london shite lite, what's that all about...., they should be made to clean up the mess too if they are gonna distribute this litter

AuraofDora · 01/02/2009 17:58

Nagapie · 01/02/2009 18:08

Aura - I hate the Metro!! Some meedja studies students were asked once what daily papers they read - most felt it was a suitable paper - no editorial, cut 'n paste, lame brain rag to throw about the tube - grrrrr

Ponders · 01/02/2009 18:15
  1. actual print paper, none. online, loads
  2. ditto

Do buy an actual paper on Saturday, but not telling you which one since you didn't ask

Ponders · 01/02/2009 18:17
