I am not surprised, he's an arrogant idiot, I hope it's not true, but only because it's so unfair on his wife and children if it is, but in all honesty I expect he has been playing the field for years, and not just with this woman either.

Btw, 'the phone call' from a newspaper to alert someone they are the subject of a story does NOT come 'after the paper has gone to press'. That would be daft. What's the point of calling someone when you've already printed the story? They'd just get their lawyers to rustle up a friendly judge and slap an injunction on you.

And sleazy cheating men have been known to use the 'oh my poor wife, those evil newspapers have caused her such distress' in the courts. Self-serving twaddle by someone who is trying to avoid responsibility for their own shitty actions. It's the adulterer who is to blame for hurting their wife or partner.

Having your other half's adultery exposed in the papers must be devastating but there is an easy way for celebs to protect the innocent party - how about NOT having an affair or even NOT using your children to market yourself as the perfect family guy.

Btw, often the celeb's publicist will have brokered a deal after the paper has made the phone call. It's entirely possible the Screws of the World had more dirt on Ramsey than was published.

This must have really torn her world apart and i wish her lots of love and luck for the future.
I bet she feels like she has lost her world and that she is nothing and worthless but it's him that has nothing now.She has the love and respect of her family and children and i really hope she gets through this.She is a beautiful,witty and itelligent woman who deserves the best.

I struggle to pity them too much, for the reasons other posters have already mentioned

It's shit that a family may be broken up because of infidelity (kids etc) but these people use the press to their maximum advantage CONSTANTLY for their financial gain. Of course the gutter press will go to town at the merest hint of foul-play... and they know this, surely??
