I am really really pleased that she has been found and hope she is allowed to settle back inot normal life as soon as poss.
but now I hope this will shut up those self-righteous bastards in the media (and beyond) that keep comparing this to the Madeleine McCann case along the lines of McCanns=middle class and so have had favourable media coverage versus Matthews=working class and not as good pickings for the media.
The cases are/were NOT similar at all: sadly it looked likely all along that Shannon's background (for want of a better word) was likely to have something to do with her disappearance, i.e. the extended family; ex-partners of her mum, etc.
But this is probably not the place for a comment like this at the moment. as I said, I'm happy she's been found.
