They say that "if" she was abducted (their emphasis, not mine) then she will be the first child to be found alive since the mid 1980s.

Not sure if that is British child or child anywhere...

Those two girls in Brighton (was it brighton?) who were abducted together late eighties I think.

squonk - it would have to be British children only, as that Dutch girl was found last year, wasn't she? admitedly she wasn't a child any more.

This has been a very strange case from the outset, with comments from the mother about ppl out to her hurt her, familial accusations...
