What's with the Spectator magazine?

spacedonkey · 19/12/2004 17:16

I bet she wears Lynx Africa. Dangerous stuff.

WideWebWitch · 19/12/2004 17:17

hahahahaha sd!

morningpaper · 19/12/2004 17:18

Lordy I'm a bit shocked that she managed to get married DURING her affair with Hoggart and then CONTINUED by starting up an affair with Blunkett... don't understand why people get married when they are ALREADY being unfaithful. Am I terribly old-fashioned?!!

I'm quite surprised her hubby's standing by her.

spacedonkey · 19/12/2004 17:20

Makes you wonder who else she's been at it with. Arthur Scargill perhaps?

bakedpotatohoho · 19/12/2004 17:21

how DID she timetable them all? do you think she spent any time at all with the 2-yr-old?

Tinker · 19/12/2004 17:23

Suppose she could have done SH and her husband with DB in the room at the time

WideWebWitch · 19/12/2004 17:23

TINKER!

mistletoe · 19/12/2004 17:24

There seems to be a whole way of life out there I know nothing about. Not that I could live that way, mind you. Sounds like great fun until it all comes unravelled like this.

Shame about Simon Hoggart, always like him on Radio 4.

Is there anyone in the world left who is actually worthy of respect? (other than dh and I, who haven't contemplated anyone else in the 13 years we've been together (I hope) ).

motherinfestivemood · 19/12/2004 17:27

Do I live an exceptionally quiet life these days, or is it all quite dizzyingly energetic?

mistletoe · 19/12/2004 17:27

Bakedpotato

I don't think she spends any time (or emotional concern with the 2 yr old. That's what the Nanny was for.

If she cared about her son, she wouldn't let him form a relationship with DB to just STOP it, with no good reason as far as the child is concerned IYSWIM

Tinker · 19/12/2004 17:28

I bet she shagged Boris as well.

motherinfestivemood · 19/12/2004 17:30

I suppose if you have full-time childcare you have more time for shagging. No wonder she got worried about the nanny's visa.

Tinker · 19/12/2004 17:33

Is she an example of someone who's 'having it all'? Having them all?

motherinfestivemood · 19/12/2004 17:34

Got it in one, Tinker. I feel quite exhausted just contemplating it. And I speak as someone who used to be a bit of a goer.

motherinfestivemood · 19/12/2004 17:38

I particularly like the bit about the {http://www.guardian.co.uk/uklatest/story/0,1271,-4682316,00.html?gusrc=ticker-103704\secret lovenest for sex}. Something so sordidly specific.

WideWebWitch · 19/12/2004 17:38

Well quite, MI, me too!

motherinfestivemood · 19/12/2004 17:38

I meant this secret love nest

JanH · 19/12/2004 17:41

Oh, well, that's all right, then. Infrequent doesn't count, obviously.

Pshaw!!!! Horsewhip the lot of them!

OP posts:
WideWebWitch · 19/12/2004 17:41

God, it makes me clench my knees together in disgust tbh! Ewww again at the secret love nest. She has the most disgusting taste in men.

mistletoe · 19/12/2004 17:42

Given that there is sooooo much speculation regarding the father of her children, pesumably much of this sexual activity takes place without protection.

Personally I think they all deserve to get the clap, and a very nasty form of it at that.

Or am I just an old-fashioned fuddy-duddy?

mistletoe · 19/12/2004 17:44

Oh and WWW, I suspect she doesn't have taste in men, she just goes for rich/powerful/influencial.

I liked the comment 'the news comes as a blow to her husband'

JanH · 19/12/2004 17:56

Does this mean she didn't shag Angus Deayton?
