You can't escape from an open prison. You can abscond though. If a prisoner wasn't there for morning roll check they would know and be looking for him instantly.

I think it is more likely to be somebody who knows her, if it is that scenario. Praying it isn't and that she comes home by some miracle.

I have read they've cordoned off a car park at Skippol Creek some miles away. I just hope they find her.

The screenshot is from her Facebook profile not her private messenger, it's a post from 7th Dec but the comments are from recently (since her disappearance)

Inmates of that open prison are very low risk and usually head for populated places they have links with. I can't see any of them hanging around St Michaels for a brief 20min window in which to attack someone.

They ve retrieved some bits from skippol creek so presumably bits of clothing to examine

Having taken a look, I agree that these are comments on a post, not Facebook Messenger as some claim.

However, whilst he is commenting on posts made prior to her disappearance, his comments were all posted after her disappearance, so the allegation that he was bothering her is wrong. He seems to have upset some other people who have posted following her disappearance, but that is another matter.

His profile does not include a picture of himself, so those identifying someone in a photo as him are guessing.

Being a little bored, I've scrolled through his posts. Contrary to what is said, there is nothing on there about abduction.

It isn't even clear if he lives in the UK. His posts and reviews suggest otherwise, although that is not conclusive.

It’s really confusing but I think the poster of the comments isn’t the man who was following her on strava or had posts about abduction.

The poster of the comments has taken screenshots all from someone named Simon S and his strava account. it is Simon S that has allegedly been following Nicki and variations of her name on Strava, and has posts somewhere about abduction allegedly.

The person who has commented on Nickis Facebook is just trying to bring attention to the posts by Simon S, it’s hard to follow.

The poster of the comments on Nicola Bulley's Facebook page is John Robertson. He is the one with lots of religious posts. He is the one about whom it is falsely alleged that he has posts about abduction once you get past the religious posts. It is also he who has allegedly deleted all his posts on Facebook. He hasn't.

Separately, Simon S who lives in Camberley has followed her on Strava, where she is Nikki Bulley. He has also followed two other women named Nicola Bulley. He appears to be one of a number of people who appear to have followed her on Strava since her disappearance. At least one other such person has also followed a Nicola Bulley. My guess is that, having heard of her disappearance and not knowing she was Nikki Bulley on Strava, Simon S followed a couple of people he thought might be her before actually finding her. There is insufficient information on him to identify any Facebook page he has and he has never posted anything on Strava, so any references to posts are definitely talking about John Robertson.

You will get very confused if you try to follow this case on Facebook, Twitter or similar (or even on here). Some people post guesses or even made up facts as if they were true.

So someone has discovered that a guy called Simon has been following 3 strava accounts in Nicola's name (or variations of her name). Apparently she has an ex husband called Simon, maybe it's the same person?
Apparently he goes out with someone from Corrie now although he has said he hasn't seen NB for 12 years. Probably not him strava stalking his ex wife then but still weird that someone is following her strava.

I think most likely the strava guy is just someone who’s been trying to find her account after all of this has happened and has followed all three with the same name.

There’s a lot of talk of her and her partner not being together anymore and the interview did suggest he was just focusing on his kids. He referred to her as ‘she’ rather than by name and didn’t appeal to Nicola to come home or anything, like her parents did. It’s impossible to say how you’d react under the same circumstances and I don’t think I could face an interview, especially when you know it’s going to be scrutinised. If they’ve split up but still living together it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s guilty of anything though. The stopping posting on Facebook for 2 months thing is a bit strange when she seemed to post loads before but could be because they’d split. Again, all speculation about their relationship but literally everything is speculation at this point. Really thought there would be some news today 😔

She might have just changed her privacy settings on Facebook 2 months ago so that what she was posting was no longer public.
