Just been reading through the tabloids of late and at the moment Katie Price seems to be making a spectacular downward spiral . It's become a daily topic at lunch as a new story pops up .
We got to talking about mental health and friendships and loved ones . Times needed abit of guidance or times we had stepped in to help others .

Watching her unravel like this so sad to see , she's clearly got a lot of deep rooted issues .
If you was her friend would you be stepping in to help her ? And if so how ?

I thought Peter Andre barely had 2 ha'pennies to rub together before he met Katie in the jungle? He never struck me as her financial equal?

I think to start with you are probably correct in that he wasn't finically equal, but I do think they loved eachother. He has now got his own career and has been a bit more sensible, so probably more financially stable now.

It's really not great for children to see so many different in their lives, it's fine that she loves sex, but just don't expose all your partners to your children and sell your soul to the press and have your antics played out in the papers so your children see it all.

Show your children it's fine to be on your own, you don't need a partner to be happy. Her desperation to be with a man is not good to be teaching to your children.

Now regarding KP. Her problem is her huge ego which causes her not to listen. She doesn't learn from her mistakes and she doesn't take advice or constructive criticism. What genuine friend could she keep? The only friends she could have are those prepared to tell her what she wants to hear. She has had some good men and ruins it everytime. She has to hit rock bottom before she wakes up. No one can help her till then.

I think she went off the rails after Peter, and it has just kept spiralling.

How do you know? She may well hate it but due to deep routed emotional issues, she thinks she can’t survive without a man.

He’s gotten very rich off the back of their relationship though. There was a time there after IACGMOOH where he was bloody everywhere.

When I was a teen I read one of her books where she spoke about abuse as a child, and how it shaped her behaviours. So I try not to judge her. She gets an awful lot of abuse directed towards Harvey, which is never nice.

And PA milked the life out of their relationship.

I get the feeling that someone apart from the plastic surgeon/dentist etc is making good money out of the dramas (some of which i suspect are made up or exaggerated for tv) and misfortunes of KP ......also Kerry Katona and Daniella Westbrook. You would hope that they had a manager or advisor, and family or friends who might recommend getting help away from the public eye and maybe have for example a year away from the spotlight, concentrating on their MH and their relationships (family, not neccesarily new ones!).

I think it's a bigger issue than just how KP acts. People around her dont help, the men she attracts. I think I read plastic surgeons always contact her offering free services for a discount or promotion. Which I dont think is right, she clearly is unhappy in how she looks and will snap up any offer. Add the fact nearly every bloke cheats on her shes constantly trying to stay beautiful. I find it sad.

I don't know how I could possibly help her if I was her friend. I don't know how anyone can help her now. It's so very sad.

She is trapped in a publicity bubble and she can't get out. She needs to get out, but even if she tries the tabloids are going to be chasing her for ever more. She is completely stuck.

Does she have enough money to live ok or has she wasted a load of it? I guess if she needs the money she'll just have to keep going, she's not exactly going to build up a 'normal' career now. But if she has enough money and has a good advisor to look after it for her if I was her friend I would be taking away her mobile phone and internet access and telling her to just stop. She is losing her mum, surely she doesn't want the same for her kids. And that's where she is heading. I am so sad for her.

I doubt she loves sex. She needs men and offers them what she thinks they want to stay with her.

I would worry if she was my friend/ mum/ family member etc. The problem is k p loves the drama and is very sociable and outgoing. She thrives on making a mess of her life and all that publicity that comes with it. She won't change of her own accord. Thankfully her young kids have good dads in their lives.

Out of interest, do face lifts always result in those awful scars which will surely be visible even when healed? I thought the scars would have been more discreet eg behind the ears.

She seems to have a very sensible family around her , they must be worried sick . I'd like to see someone intervene before it's to late. It's so sad to see her making such a public downfall .

Same here. How can anybody judge her. I wish she had engaged seriously with therapy.

I didn't mean she shouldn't enjoy sex! Sex is great, and if you want to enjoy it with multiple partners then go for it. As long as nobody is getting hurt in the process.

The issue is, she doesn't keep her sex life separate from her family life.
Those kids have had a revolving door of stepdads and zero consistency or stability, all because their Mum can't function without male attention.

Yes if I remember rightly she was put in some pretty shady situations as a young teen when she started modelling. And what was asked of her.

I read (on mailonline but please don’t judge me) that her kids screamed and cried when they saw the massive open wounds on her face- they were terrified she was injured apparently. Poor, poor kids.

I think KP has been vulnerable for a long time but has been exploited all the way through her adult life by toxic people around her- not least Peter Andre. She’s apparently quite sweet according to my MIL who lives not far from the mucky mansion.

No-one will help her as long as she generates cash for them. So sad.
