Just been reading through the tabloids of late and at the moment Katie Price seems to be making a spectacular downward spiral . It's become a daily topic at lunch as a new story pops up .
We got to talking about mental health and friendships and loved ones . Times needed abit of guidance or times we had stepped in to help others .

Watching her unravel like this so sad to see , she's clearly got a lot of deep rooted issues .
If you was her friend would you be stepping in to help her ? And if so how ?

As for the op's question. I think Katie Price has been unwell for a long time. She has always focused her life around her looks and I always wondered how she would cope as she aged. I guess all her friends can do is be there for Katie and her children. She is a grown woman with capacity to make her own, albeit unwise decisions. It's whether her children will suffer that's the issue.

Id`e ask her to stop courting the press .

I just googled her and my god this photo is so sad, she must be in bloody agony. I think she's beyond help because she just doesn't know how to accept it or even trust who gives it? I don't know but I do hope she accepts some sort of help soon and recovers from all this surgery.

If I were her friend I’d probably shag her husband, which is what her “friends” typically do.

KP is desperately in need of a real friend. Someone that will actually help her, rather than feed off her. I fear what will happen to her once her mother dies. Every man that enters her life is more of a cling-on, 15 minuter than the one before. This obsession with surgery is most likely to kill her though as she doesn’t seem to look after herself and increases her risk of infection.

The problem with characters like KP are that she isn’t really capable of forming meaningful friendships so it’s unlikely she has any friends of the type you are hinting at OP, ones that would stage an intervention.

I’ve seen her pictures and it’s pretty horrifying but I don’t hold much hope for her ‘getting better’

Don’t know much about KP. I just rennet a programme years ago where ‘famous’ people took an ordinary job and were filmed to see if they could get away with it.

I'd advise her to surrender custody of those poor children to their fathers. She's a dreadful mother. God knows what damage she's done to them already.

I'd also advise her to make sure Harvey was well provided for.

I think she’s extremely immature (especially emotionally immature) and I’m not sure there is anything her friends can do about that. It’s just her personality. She’s crass, childish and not very clever. She’s done far better for herself that she should be capable of really, good for her

I think she is surrounded mostly by people who are only interested in the gravy train. A true friend would have stepped in a long time ago. She has been spiralling for quite some time. I feel for her and it will take a tragedy (the downward spiral of Jade Goody rings a bell here) before people sit up and take note that she could have done with some sort of intervention rather than being mocked.
