LL made a reference to a thread i was on in which i called someone judgemental.i said that was completely different.i am judging cc based on what i see 'because she is in the public eye' if she wasn't in the public eye,i wouldn't know her would i??
that's all.i would say she's let herself go whether she was cc or someone i know.i don't think that's judgmental.it's just an observation.she has put on in excessive weight.she was looking rough even before pg imo.

I think she can be as huge as she wants and as slobby as she likes when pg. Even if she's carrying a petite 6lb er. God only knows I was huge. I thought too that a bit of choc made for a happier baby? Well, i'd read that somewhere and wasn't going to take any chances

"Putting on a lot of weight" = objective statement. We can discuss that. Some people do. Personally, I went to the gym to see my personal trainer until 36 weeks but guess what - I looked like a whale. Lots and lots of fluid retention in my case.

"Letting herself go" = subjective/judgmental. Implies a "standard" she should be adhering to and has fallen below. When any reasonable person knows there is no such standard.

Excellent idea Tigerfeet - I don;t even have the excuse of pregnancy to blame my "letting go" on, though 3x IVF were a big of a bugger.

Ah, Tutter, I'm with you. Every single bit of me looked pregnant. What's with this "small neat bump" malarkey. I had to have some photoes done at work for publicity stuff and even though they were only head and shoulders shots, my head looks like a large pumpkin lantern.

I am also not fantatically tall - about 5'4". Was practically spherical by 38 weeks.
